  1. I think we are a bit shit. Yeah, the passes look nice, but it's Saudi Arabia, hardly Germany. Alonso 2-1 btw.
  2. Camacho's barely played since he made the first splash three years ago. Been injured a lot, too. He's just been an injury time sub this season. Again, that's the rumored deal, but Atlético's interest in the player is well documented and both presidents have met these days. Antonio López isn't really great.
  3. Atlético on the verge of signing Filipe Luis from Depor for €7m+Camacho and Diego Costa. Damn good signing if they pull it off, best leftback in La Liga by a mile.
  4. Atlético home and away http://estaticos03.marca.com/albumes/2010/05/28/equipacion_atleti/1275081420_extras_albumes_1.jpg http://estaticos03.marca.com/albumes/2010/05/28/equipacion_atleti/1275081863_extras_albumes_0.jpg They also have "Un sentimiento, un orgullo" embroidered in the reverse side behind the badge. Nike, please stop doing this.
  5. Yeah, I meant the Euros, I had a slip with the WC being so close.
  6. "As" reporting today that ManCity have hijacked Maicon's move to Real Madrid.
  7. So fucking true, they whine about this every tournament! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/worldcup2010/article-1282313/WORLD-CUP-2010-Brazil-goalkeeper-Julio-Cesar-blasts-grocery-Jabulani-ball.html
  8. OK, so now we need to know why the planet Mercury doesn't rotate. Pretty sure Mercury does rotate, just very slowly.
  9. IIRC the most accepted theory is that it's leftover momentum from the particles that were expelled from the Sun and formed the cellestial bodies of the Solar System
  10. Just saw this photo, Mike needs a new avatar http://estaticos02.marca.com/blogs/fuera-de-juego/imagenes_posts/2010/05/26/donovan.jpg
  11. They are starved for success. Sacking Capello was fine when they had won 3 CLs in the previous 10 years, but now they haven't had a sniff in quite a while. And it's not like Mou is going to park the bus against the likes of Almería or Mallorca so they'll still get their goalfests to stroke their cock with. The problem will be if he doesn't win in Europe in a couple years, though (even if he wins the league).
  12. It's going to be fun seeing him cohabitate with Jorge Valdano (Madrid's DoF). In his times as a pundit, Valdano was notoriously anti-Mourinho.
  13. 99% glass. He's world-glass. Thanks, I try my best
  14. Atlético are his boyhood club anyway. With him being out of contract, 20, and without much pitch time... it's a great move for him.
  15. Madrid will pay €8m for Mou, who'll be unveiled this Monday at the Bernabéu. I expect some Cronaldo-unveiling madness. Fran Mérida has done the shirt-and-pitch for Atlético today. Great signing on a free, I say.
  16. Germany 2006 Austria/Switzerland 2008
  17. Suazo has been pretty good for Zaragoza, but they can't afford him.
  18. This Saturday, Spain-England play the U17 World Cup final. Wish I could find some place to watch it here. Ramalho (Bilbao), Deulofeu (Barça), Jesé (Madrid) and Alcácer (Valencia) are our best players by a mile.
  19. Mancini to play his own twisted 4-3-3 with 3 holding mids and 3 strikers. But I reckon Dzeko is a good signing. Adebayor was streaky and only Tévez delivered the goods.
  20. Apparently Inter are still refusing to let Mourinho go without compensation, so looks line no unveiling until next week. Madrid not even bothering with finalising their signings before announcing them anymore
  21. "but with regular partners and without champagne or other drinks"
  22. Jorge Valdano just said in an interview for a Spanish radio that Higuaín is not available for transfer.
  23. Up until April, when Cronaldo hit that streak of form, Higuaín's goals had meant more points for them than the Portuguese's. He was pretty decisive in wins against Valencia and Deportivo, which Madrid have pretty bad record against. He also carried them last season. I agree he's a limited player, but what he does he does it very well and he's still very young.
  24. The way they have been dragging their feet with Higuaín's contract these months it's quite ridiculous. Pérez just doesn't want him.
