For all that talk of Burnley's great first half of the season, they'll drop to relegation zone unless they nick a goal against Bolton.
-
Liverpool are so toothless without Torres it's ridiculous.

You lot should have waited until tomorrow to buy Routledge.

Just read that Materazzi has been retroactively yellow-carded for putting that Berlusconi mask at the end of the match.

Fake Berbatov twitter account. Gave me a good chuckle
-
Isn't he in supposedly huge wages? (which has stopped him from leaving several times). I don't rate him that highly but obviously he would probably rip this league to shreds.

According to Mexican media, Cabañas condition is "still serious" but shows "very favorable signs".

Cronaldo got hit with a 2-match ban. Madrid have appealed. Final decision will be reached on Thursday (they rarely overturn bans, but will see...)

Great signing, I think, at least for this level -

Well, unless Rivaldo goes to Qatar or something next season, seems we are stuck with 4 for the moment. -
Apparently he was conscious when he was driven to the hospital, and able to talk.

Link? I took it from Mexican media. Here it goes anyhow. http://www.vefutbol.com.mx/notas/23184.html

Latest update from the medical team says that Cabañas "is in the hands of God"

He is 32, but if he's still motivated he'd tear up this league.

I wonder if you lot should go and knock Espanyol's door for Raúl Tamudo. He and the manager supposedly made peace months ago, but truth is he still has barely played for them, which provided how absolutely clueless Espanyol has been in front of goal, tells you something isn't right.

He signed for Toronto at the tail end of the MLS regular season. Didn't have much time.

"De Laet is late to the tackle" Too easy.

Sometimes these gambles pay off. We "discovered" Xavi when Guardiola started to become injury prone and Van Gaal was forced to scrounge our youth teams for a CM.

Wow ... he really used to be seen as a big time talent, but things have certainly gone quiet with him. Definitely one to target in the summer if we go up. Older brother Julian was also very good in La Liga and he was a free agent this summer... now at MLS. Always thought that was a suprising move. Me too, apparently he didn't get offers. He had a rather vocal fight with the Deportivo ownership regarding his contract, which is why they iced him out and let his contract run, but he still was their best player when he played. He is a "designated player" at Toronto, which means he's one of the best paid in the league, but even Landon Donovan was on shit wages, something like 900k/year.

Last info I have from Cabañas is a medical report from 2 hours ago saying his condition is "serious but stable" They haven't extracted the bullet from his head, as it would be too dangerous apparently.
-
Where to? And that means we are not pocketing the €2m for appearances we had for him. /pennypinching

Guy has been your manager several times already, hasn't he? Odemwingie looked dynamic, but was easily muscled out of the ball. Still the only Nigerian player that I noticed as doing exciting stuff. Two nice semifinals though!

Both keepers with the last penalties. Ace.
