Feel this is the beginning of a Libyan style revolution. NSL will gain support over the coming days and come Tuesday week, all ethnics will be banned.

Sweet merciful lord. Obviously everyone will be delighted if we can make a few Tiote-like signings. Personally though, there'll be a twinge of disappointment if come the end of the transfer window there's £20m in the bank that could have been used to really push on next season. Just sayin'
-
I'd rather spend £5m on Tiote and Simpson types than blow the £30m on Owen, Luque & Boumsong, even if it means Ashley keeping the £25m and owing him less. Wouldn't we all. Unfortunately these type of players are few and far between. My main point is that the money is there, the majority should be spent this summer, whether it be on 5-6 Tiote like signings or 2-3 marquee buys.

That should be the case whoever is owner tbh, and we've been stung in the past more than many. It's just that apart from a few exceptions costlier=better tends to be the rule. All depends on where we want to go as a club. It stinks of preparation for the inevitable disappointment of the transfer window tbh. If we get say 3 average players in for smallish sums, these people will carry on defending the patron saint of shit clothes and label it a successful window. The majority of the £35m, imo, needs to be invested if we are going to push on for Europe.
-
So the party line from the Ashley supporters is "we don't care how much is spent, as long as we buy the right players blah, blah, blah." All well and good, but we've been told all money is being reinvested, this should be the case. Say we do get 2-3 players for around £15m, the money is there to get 2-3 more, and should be spent.

Glasgow is the only place when I've seen a bouncer on a McDonalds at 3pm. What the holy fuck are you on about? This is often the case in Newcastle actually (well, more security than bouncers).

Go on Ally son, beat the fuck out of the ginger toad.

He's an above average striker. Nothing special. Will have critics as long as he's at Arsenal because of this. Would happily take him here at a reasonable fee, of course.
