Great stuff. Shola instrumental as always. Bar a collapse, we shall soon be returning to our rightful place above the unwashed. -
This comeback wouldn't have been possible with the poor, David May led Man U teams of the 90s.

Shocking decision from Pieface.

I've seen Premier League years. In all seriousness, it would be interesting to see how the best sides of the early 90s would do in today's game. Imo, they wouldn't match up (I'm aware the likes of Becks and Giggs were around).

Pretty sure the current Man U team would manage to break down the lethal Blackburn championship winning defence of Henning Berg, Colin Hendry, Graeme Le Saux and Jeff Kenna

That kopparberg bender juice has made you feisty. -
There's virtually no chance that more than 3 of those teams below us will manage to pick up more points than us over the next 8 games. Should be between the current bottom 6. /jinxed

No it's not. Ibrahimovic has done all of that and is still only considered a 24m pound player, even at his height when he left Inter he cost £40m. Do you honestly think Carroll will achieve half of what he has? I bet he'll have less league winners medals than Alan Shearer. Would you actually put money on that, or are you just trying to add a little emphasis? Barring career-ending injuries, Carroll will dwarf what Shearer achieved, whether we like it or not. Can you quantify what you mean? By Shearer's achievements do you refer to his trophy with Blackburn or do we include the number of goals he scored overall, including golden boot awards, his goals for Egland and being top scorer in a major tournament (Euro 96)? That post would go lovely on his Wikipedia page, wouldn't it? He'll achiveve more than Shearer, as I said. He'll win more trophies and probably score more goals at international level. I'm willing to wager my prostate gland on him failing to do this. No chance. It was effective, but we were rarely entertaining in The Championship and less so this season. Agree.

I'm waiting for that as well! It all just seems pretty much what was expected from our season in the Championship tbh. Income well down, wages well down, made a profit on transfers, but overall the club made another loss which Ashley has funded by sticking more money in. There was no other result possible really. The only piece of the jigsaw that is now known is what the wage bill dropped to post Owen, Viduka, Martins etc. http://img856.imageshack.us/img856/7415/boratgreatsuccess450x33.jpg

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll

Hope he is a failure at club and international level. Was gutted to see him score tonight. -
i was more embarrassed by colo's in his first season than i've ever been by taylors defending. Agree. Disgraceful behaviour.

He's a smooth operator, no doubt. Actually sounds hopeful for the summer, if we stay up of course. His 14 year old daughter's been shagging around like.

We have 10 scouts? They must be fucking shit.

"Hellaw, I've got a ticket in the Gallowgate and aaa think we need to win." That's not even a question, you troglodyte.

Ireland's going to be a top top player for noocaarstle.
-
Same. Don't get the people who hate our own players when the worst they've done is not being good enough. I guess you'll always find people like that in life. Nothing to do with the cheating, constantly blaming and pointing at those around him, arselicking every manager who walks through the door, and generally being a complete and utter arsehole then? You just described 50% of modern footballers.

There's little doubt he's a daft shit off the pitch, but I struggle to bring myself to hate someone who gives 100% whenever he pulls on the shirt. Each to their own though.
