Should probably know this, but why is the flag that colour on the current one?
-
Sooner they bring in some preliminary qualifiers to weed out some of the pretend countries the better. Separate the wheat from the chaff.
-
People filming themselves at the match has to be the worst thing about modern football. Thankfully yet to find myself near one of them in the wild.
-
Very creepy bloke.

Realise it will likely work in our favour but fewmin matches against Albania & San Marino are getting in the way of the new era. Such a long wait.

Jones ending on a 1-0 shithouse win. HTL. -
He came from Bournemouth But now he's geordie Oh Eddie Howe, Eddie Howe, Eddie Howe Howe Howe And now he'll take us The toon to glory Into Europe we will go Don't like the 2nd & 3rd last lines, someone please amend. Also realise technically not from Bournemouth. Apart from that basically John Lennon.

An amazing lack of shame like. You'd have thought if you were responsible for the pretend funeral you'd have gone into hiding, rather than constantly find new ways to embarrass yasel.
-
Aye. I know comments like that are often derided but it's absolutely spot on tbf.
-
Waka Waka possibly the greatest football song of all time.
-
Feels almost like we're trawling through the worst periods of his career in order to get the 'told you so' ready should he fail. He's a manager with a decent track record who we would have all been buzzing about a month ago. For once agreed with the mega troll Luke Edwards, hope he gets absolutely unbridled support.

First English Premier League winning manager?
-
I'm no massive fan or owt but how did Martinez's reputation go down the pan so dramatically? I'd put him easily on par with the likes of Howe. To be honest, would take anyone outside the old boy's club at this rate. As above, trying to secure safety this season is all that matters and that's not happening under Jones.

Had a quick deeks at their 'sportswashing' thread and you can actively sense the tears streaming down their sweaty cheeks with every passing comment. In the week they were mercilessly dispatched by Rotherham United, their closest rivals on the verge of appointing a 4 times Europa League winner. Sorry state of affairs on Wearside.

It's an absolute banger tbf. Doesn't really habe singalong anthem qualities though. Keep it lower down the pre-match order. Need Sam Fender to bash out something YNWA-ish.
-
Outstanding appointment if we get it OWA THE LINE. A new Spanish messiah.

The whole country. -
Sure they'll find a way without renaming the stadium (if the Premier League allow them to).
-
Got to agree with Wullie & Co, completely against it. Was against it under Ashley, would be against it now. Absolutely no need to it given the wealth of this lot as well. You'd like to think given the noises from them during the takeover they wouldn't go down this route, although under no illusions that every owner is going to say the right things to begin with

It is weird actually being disappointed that we're not on the telly. 3pm blackout needs protecting at all costs though! -
Still yet to recover mentally from Dickie Hillman trying to off his ma.
-
Relief to finally see him gone, feels like this weekend will be the real new beginning. Slightly galling seeing the media respond as if he's suffered immense physical and mental torture for 2 years, and not the standard grief you get with a football manager not doing his job properly.
-
The atmosphere around town and during build-up / first 10 minutes was hopefully a glimpse into what is to come. Obviously once the players reverted to Bruce ball and it turned into a Spurs training exercise everything went to pot, including the atmosphere. Still, good to properly feel it again.

6-pointer in October. Need that new manager bounce desperately.
