Singing section update to our members.. Hello all, We are writing to you today to bring you some great news. Wor Hyem 1892 are awaiting singing section confirmation from NUFC, the section we have agreed in principle with the club and Gallowgate Flags is the Gallowgate upper. We will be in touch regarding ways to move with us once we hear more from the club. This will be before the ST deadline. We hope this helps your decision on where your new seat will be. Demand will be high, and there is no guarantee that you will be able to obtain a ticket. Our ambition is to turn the Gallowgate into a wall of black and white, inspired by the yellow wall of Dortmund. This is just the beginning of the movement. The wing seats are far cheaper than the central seats anyway. When the stadium was redeveloped in 1999 they put away fans in that corner whilst charging people in the Platinum Club right next to them £71.

They'll be put in the north west corner underneath the Sky boxes. That corner holds around 3k and is the closest to Barrack Road where the away buses park up.

I will be first to say he needs to lose some weight and gain an extra yard, but he's far from a bad player. He has a cult following which you are clearly part of, I get that, but so did Ameobi and he wasn't good enough either. To my knowledge there's never been a centre forward with such a chronic lack of pace, coupled with poor finishing ability who has made a successful career for himself. Judging by the amount of game time he had last season I think Rafa sees things the same way.

If we can get near enough our money back I'd sell him in a shot. Forget the stats, his poor goalscoring rate, his poor chance conversion % or his questionable temperament, I've watched him for 2 seasons now and it's clear that he's not good enough.

I pay for my tickets. I'm not saying there aren't a load of free tickets slung about, but 'refuse to pay' ? Complete bullshit Your average ticket price last season was £12 according to club accounts. To put that into perspective Gateshead of the Conference charge £15 a ticket. You are either giving away 1000s upon 1000s of tickets every week or are charging fans less than what fans of non league teams pay. It's one or the other.

Had some awful displays as a right back in the Championship as well. Wolves at home he was terrible but Fulham at home was one of the worst displays I think I've ever seen from a full back. Glad to see the back of him.

They were hemorrhaging money at a ridiculous rate when they were on the gravy train of the richest league on the planet and Short has had to bail them out with over £100m of his own money just to keep them going. The have a stadium which is now 20 years old and was built very cheaply (£15m iirc) and is now needing quite a bit of money spent on it and a playing squad worth very little, but costing them a fortune in salaries. To compound that, they have a supporter base that refuses to pay for tickets and as a result they generally make a loss on home cup fixtures as very few people turn up to these games as they have to charge a nominal amount for entry due to the receipts being shared. Anyone paying more than the £1 Bob Murray sold it to Drumaville for really needs their head examining.
