  1. Bit different to the San Siro or Dortmund though. They are truely iconic venues and are on most football fans bucket lists to visit. Bruges ground was a dump but it's arguably a nicer city to visit than Milan or Dortmund.
  2. Aye we're going along to that one. A few of us (parents and kids) from the bairns football team going along. Cheap night out and hopefully some decent football on show.
  3. I would have done it in my teens/20s without a doubt. Was always able to get tickets for any match back then though. In my mid 40s now and wouldn't entertain it going ticketless. Everyone's different though I suppose.
  4. I'm like that now. Might be an age thing but I'm not all that arsed about just going along for the "experience" these days. The experience for me would be being inside the San Siro and Signal Igunda Park not watching in some pub somewhere.
  5. This. As is always the case with Italian Ultras they'll stay well away from big crowds of NUFC fans amd target singles and smaller groups.
  6. It's OK. Lots of other places I'd go ahead of there on a matchday. Agree that the lay out could be much better given the amount of space they have to work with.
  7. If you're expecting this new place to serve cheap food and drink I suspect you'll be in for a nasty surprise.
  8. You can at the Shark Club.
  9. I think it most likely will be the other end mate. Germans are pretty tolerant of away fans being in their end but not in "their" end if you what I mean.
  10. Very much doubt they'll sell to anyone with a UK address though. Anyone with friends or family on the continent who can get tickets on their behalf it might be worth looking it.
  11. Just tried it. No events showing when I click on ballots. I know the ticketing is a bit of a shambles but if be amazed if they opened the PSG ballot without telling anyone Think the NUSC have been dealt some misinformation.
  12. Hope it's behind the other goal mate. If it turns a bit nasty there's nowhere to run as they're packed in like sardines UEFA have relaxed their rules as well so their capacity is no longer reduced to 65k for European games so there'll be 81,000 there, 25,000 of those in the yellow wall.
  13. Best of luck, even though his membership was also showing on my account once I realised I had to log into his account before it would let me download his it worked straight away.
  14. Have you checked that you've logged out of your own account and logged into theirs before downloading them? Obviously you'll all have your own supporter number. That's where I was going wrong at first.
  15. Give Percy Main a go mate. Think it's 3 quid to get in and the lad will be free. They've got a bar there now and have done a bit of work to their ground by all accounts. As I said earlier a fair few North Shields fans have deflected to them and they are pulling in 3 figure crowds. I'd imagine they'll be the best supported team in tbe Alliance now Blue Star aren't there.
  16. I know he was at the end of season Presentation night but don't think he attends many games these days. 201 there on Saturday with nice weather to tempt people along. They'll be down to 150 during the winter from a 400+ average 3/4 seasons ago. My mate renewed his season ticket but says the 4 lads he used to stand with have all stopped going and they have been there since the Wearside League days.
  17. This basically. They knew last summer that they needed to improve the ground otherwise they'd be demoted. They waiting until March then declared they'd need to raise £45k to get the work done so started a go fund page. By this time people were becoming pretty cynical and they only raised just over 4k which they've pocketed and done nothing to the ground other than put a few flagstones down next to the womes bogs according to my mate who watches them. They've had £1000s upon £1000s gone into that club over the past decade. The Vase win, 400 average gates, lots of loyal sponsors yet have spent nothing on improving the ground/facilities. Even the clubhouse was funded by grants. Absolute joke of a club.
  18. Doesn't go on straight away but the point is awarded regardless. Until there becomes a time when our ticketing system can "talk" to opposition clubs ticketing systems then it won't change.
  19. There's no reason to watch North Shields these days that's the sad fact. They have no ambition and their "ground" is an absolute disgrace. No protection from the elements for the paying supporters amd the general facilities are woefully inadequate. My mate used to stand underneath the conifers beyond the bottom goal when it was raining and they even chopped those down Plus their chairman Matthews is a bitter mackem prick. My mate reckons a few of their fans asked him if he would put Sheff Utd v Everton on in the clubhouse, and he told them to do one and put Sunderland on instead. How to keep the fans onside after that shitshow of the summer eh?
  20. Loads have wrapped in. I know of 6 Shields fans who have now bought season tickets at Percy Main instead. Most of their "Ultras" have stopped going now. Ultimately the club are reaping what they've sewn.
  21. Could clearly see a big block of empty seats on TV, towards the back of the away end at the left of you looked towards it as well as plenty others dotted around. Sad to see really but that's the road the club want to go down.
  22. Our forward players seen to have a real problem with hitting the target.
  23. Few mates who were at Man City said it was a very different away end to what we've had in the past.
