  1. For such an experienced ref Pawson looks so far out of his depth it's scary. Just as well it hasn't been a difficult match to referee.
  2. They're clearly targeting Burn down our left hand side here. They look a bit sharper than we do. Ref been poor as well.
  3. Must admit I'm relatively confident of getting tickets for this one.
  4. I've gone for Category 3 for Man City for no other reason than I have a 0% success rate so far when choosing Category 2. Hopefully this is where my luck turns.
  5. They'll never openly advertise it. Just a case of trying a few and chancing your luck. Typically it's usually pubs and clubs outside of the city centre where you have the best chance of finding somewhere showing it.
  6. Not sure how it would work being in such close proximity to SJP. I know in the past people who've watched home games from inside Shearer's have said you can hear the roar of the crowd when we score a few seconds before getting to see it on the telly. Edited, just seen you said away games!
  7. People will twist about anything these days. If it's not for you, don't go inside. It really is as simple as that. I wasn't a fan of the old Stack so wouldn't bother with this one but I reckon it'll prove to be pretty popular.
  8. Have been a regular donator to these ever since they started up. Just a tenner here and a tenner there but haven't this season and I can only put it down to not being able to secure tickets anymore meaning I'm no longer part of it, nor can see their efforts anymore with my own eyes. I really need to snap out of it and get back to chipping in a few quid because as I've said before they are the best thing about Newcastle United!
  9. Their 1st choice keeper on just over 700 quid a week man No wonder as soon as another club comes in for any of their players they want away.
  10. Bit different to the San Siro or Dortmund though. They are truely iconic venues and are on most football fans bucket lists to visit. Bruges ground was a dump but it's arguably a nicer city to visit than Milan or Dortmund.
  11. Aye we're going along to that one. A few of us (parents and kids) from the bairns football team going along. Cheap night out and hopefully some decent football on show.
  12. I would have done it in my teens/20s without a doubt. Was always able to get tickets for any match back then though. In my mid 40s now and wouldn't entertain it going ticketless. Everyone's different though I suppose.
  13. I'm like that now. Might be an age thing but I'm not all that arsed about just going along for the "experience" these days. The experience for me would be being inside the San Siro and Signal Igunda Park not watching in some pub somewhere.
  14. This. As is always the case with Italian Ultras they'll stay well away from big crowds of NUFC fans amd target singles and smaller groups.
  15. It's OK. Lots of other places I'd go ahead of there on a matchday. Agree that the lay out could be much better given the amount of space they have to work with.
  16. If you're expecting this new place to serve cheap food and drink I suspect you'll be in for a nasty surprise.
  17. You can at the Shark Club.
  18. I think it most likely will be the other end mate. Germans are pretty tolerant of away fans being in their end but not in "their" end if you what I mean.
  19. Very much doubt they'll sell to anyone with a UK address though. Anyone with friends or family on the continent who can get tickets on their behalf it might be worth looking it.
  20. Just tried it. No events showing when I click on ballots. I know the ticketing is a bit of a shambles but if be amazed if they opened the PSG ballot without telling anyone Think the NUSC have been dealt some misinformation.
