He's a massive gobshite. Don't really trust a mans genuineness when you grow a pencil tache and put on an accent because you're in France.

So what exactly would be the point of keeping Charnley if his responsibilities are given to Rafa? They won't be. They'll try their luck and he'll leave.

This post makes Siem sad. http://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/69642579/3/stock-photo-69642579-man-patient-in-hospital-room-sitting-alone-in-pain-sad.jpg

Without sounding like a broken record, I don't know why you'd bother. Protests outside the ground maybe. Inside the ground should be dedicated to Rafa in my opinion. What would a poisonous atmosphere inside the ground achieve exactly? (apart from being a good opportunity to vent) Well as far as know, theres not been a peep of this group planning one or otherwise. Like's been suggested, he knows the weight of sentiment is on his side already and his name will be sung. If he gets full control he'll stay. They won't give it to him and he'll go. He can see the poison around this place if he opens a paper or has an iphone.

He knows if he can make it work here; he'll be a God. He's got nothing to lose. He'll also get his name chanted plenty. There's 90 minutes to fill.

That fear makes no sense. We can't get on the back of the man ultimately responsible because he may go on to degrade the club. He's done it anyway and will do when he leaves. We just need to speed that up somehow and take our medicine. Keep pinning criticism on the minions for a greater fear is an exercise in futility. and these actions will continue to make people not want to go anywhere near the club! Good quite frankly, it'll mean that he can't throw anymore people to deflect the blame. We get good player/prospect - He'll sell them. We get a good coach; he'll fuck them over. We make a mistake, he'll repeat it. Keegan had it right when he says you can't work with them. So why the hell should we pussyfoot around him? He's not kim jong-il ffs. It's a viewpoint that just screams apathy.

He hasn't opened his wallet either and I actually want an owner to be involved - not just watch things melt to shit and go 'well he did it too' in interviews.

Yeah he's only had 4 years of stuff we've collectively written to plagiarise like.

Really doesn't bother me tbh. They haven't got a fucking clue.

Obviously I couldn't deny this under Ashley, but then again, why appoint Rafa in the first place if Nigel Pearson is available for £1m? Because they were arrogant enough to think it was never going to happen.

Hate the word communicate. What's the point of just communicating weasly justification for poor decisions? Communicate through positive action.
-
He wants us to be better than not in the premier league and however minimal I suppose AshleyOut would see it as leverage.

This short term, black and white (heh) thinking is part of the problem; trying to apportion the blame to one party and simplifying things at board level to roles that a inextricably linked and have differing levels of influence. Everything is always on a one season basis without the foresight of the timing of the spending and the extent at to which it will continue in future seasons. If this happened in a school or a hospital, those in charge of the culture or spend would gone in a shot, but in football it's somehow different because the timings in which they are active are so fragmented. Just think ffs.

If people had left in their droves by now then I doubt he'd still own the club personally. "How businessmen work" is cutting their losses before the s*** really hits the fan and their asset is essentially worthless. The fact that half a billion people won't see his advertising every week anymore will be more significant to him than anything else right now. But it wasn't significant to him last time we went down (although I can't remember if the stadium was plastered with all that stuff last time). Of course it was, we spent one season down there. But it wasn't significant enough for him to consider selling, is what I mean. He said that he'd put the club on the market. Months into the season it was clear that we had a very good chance of getting promoted and all talk of that went quiet. The free advertising he gets to project to such a huge audience is his main reason for owning the club, no question. And he has already said this time that we're stuck with him even if we get relegated. The guy is a twice proven liar. It means fuck all. They thought we'd get out of this and so that bluster will no doubt change.

As long as charnley is still present there will be no change because it's not an admission of failure. Why turn to keith bishop? The issue for me is not with Benitez, he may well stay but so will their bullshit methods and he'll leave. There'll be no building or restructure.
-
Well he didn't sack Pardew for starters.
-
Not a chance they'll give him full control. Getting him was their compromise.
-
If they do want him it 100% won't be on terms he would want. Not the way these twats work. The pull the rug from anybody.

That .com thing has it spot on the Rafa situation

I'll believe this shitstorm when I see it.

Yeeeap.

Wish I had an open wound for someone to piss in. My take my mind off things.

The only people who think they are better fans are the ones who bleat about having gone home and away for 200 years and how many games do you go to? Type craic. I don't particularly agree with the sheeple shit but fuck me how much shit are people prepared to swallow? I don't see how you let this go by if you claim to love the club so much. Wearing your shirt is just less hassle isn't it? Apathy reigns supreme.
