  1. Is that right? I don't recall attendance in a particular tournament ever being a determining factor for cup final tickets. I'm not saying that shouldn't be the case, but I don't remember this being the case before. Nor was it publicised. My biggest issue is that club never made the criteria clear - doing so would have saved a lot of annoyance.
  2. Are there really 32.5k people eligible for pots 1-3, all of whom will be going? I'm not convinced that there will be (but I appreciate you will need to deduct whatever corporate allocation is allotted from the 32.5k number).
  3. Given my vested interest in the allocation reaching pot 6, I'm probably deluding myself, but there must be some people in pots 1 to 6 who can't go and/or don't want to go? I know it's a cup final, but there's bound to be attrition of some kind. Or so I keep telling myself...
  4. Yep - did tell my dad he should have gone up for the semi final! Any method they used would annoyed someone, but surprised loyalty points don't factor in beyond the first set of tickets.
  5. Been absolutely screwed by that - 3 season tickets and each has over 90 points, but all live down south so haven't attended mid week cup games.
  6. Not the guy I was referring to, but looks promising.
  7. Some analyst who is a Watford fan seems to rate Pedro really highly. I think he’d be a very good addition.
  8. You're probably right from a technique/skill perspective, but they're just such different players I'm not sure it's an easy comparison to make.
  9. Still can't quite believe how good he is and that we have him. I was pondering where he fits in our best midfielders of the last 30 years or so - I'd say he's a level or two above Cabaye from what I've seen so far. I think people tend to forget how good Rob Lee really was at his peak - he's one of those players who is a bit forgotten about (certainly outside NUFC fans). I don't know if it's simply the passage of time or if his type of central midfielder has fallen out of fashion a bit?
  10. Harsh to put Douglas in Tier 3 - not sure why he isn't in Tier 2.

    Isaac Hayden

Always liked Hayden - it'll be a shame to see him go.
  12. I think my favourite is Robert's second vs Spurs in the 4-0. I've always preferred it to the volley in the same game - not sure why, but just love the audacity of it. Honourable mentions to Shearer's side foot volley against Villa, Shearer when he rolled Desailly and pinged it, and the Shearer volley vs Everton.
  13. I feel there's quite a range of players between Botman and Rodon though?
  14. A lot of articles on our transfers seem to suggest we are putting a high price on Premier League experience, but then linking us to Rodon (13 PL games) and Nat Phillips (17 PL games). Personally I'd rather take a chance on player with a higher ceiling than those two.
  15. Another player represented by the same agents as Trippier and Wood....
  16. I'm never going to get involved in these twitter spats, but the audacity of one of the particular individuals who takes the moral highground on various transgressions by others (which, don't get me wrong, should absolutely be called out) is absolutely amazing.
  17. Still surprised that we haven't gone after AVB. Unless he's also not interested.
  18. Emery would be a great appointment.
  19. I can't see Potter coming here to be honest - not right now anyway. Didn't he turn Spurs down in the summer?

    Kieron Dyer

Spot on - technically he wasn't that good and that's what ultimately let him down. As you say, Solano was a far superior player technically.
  21. Agreed - that article doesn't read well at all, but I don't think it's true to say that NUFC fans have been treated brilliantly to be honest.
  22. Wait until their first move is bring in Fat Sam on a short term contract to keep us up...
  23. Wonder if we're going to need someone on an interim basis who will just ensure we stay up? And it might need to be some who is used to working with less gifted players than Conte is used to... But then Howe doesn't strike me as an absolute guarantee against relegation. In some ways Rafa would be perfect - he has already kept this team up comfortably.
