Did we overpay? Yes Has he been underwhelming / poor so far? Yes However, his current form needs to be assessed in the context that he’s in a new team, was out for months with a serious knee injury and has played the equivalent of 7.5 full games since coming back, constantly coming in and out of the side. I know we’re in a significant rut at the moment, but I feel like we need some patience here and he will come good.

This guy was always going to be somewhat of a project (acknowledging the hefty fee we paid) and I’m confident that Eddie will get the best out of him in the next 12 months. The fact that he has 9 goals already is a huge bonus.

Looks like premier league Gordon has showed up.

His performances are on par with that of a third choice RB, which is exactly what he is. He doesn’t get a look in with a fully fit Tino and Trippier. Im not sure what people expect. Our lack of depth on the left is a far bigger issue.
