If there is any player in the squad that i would be ecstatic to be given a chance and see do really well, it's this guy. it absolutely perplexes me how someone like Lovenkrands can be given two chances before Xisco is given even one. Although i cant be sure that he would be decent, nothing suggests to me that he would be a complete failure after a starting a run of games. Something fishy is going on here i suspect.

Guthries movement and such may not have been great, but i thought his delivery for the most part was quite good.

It isnt. Against Blackburn we were just pure shit. Today we have produced numerous chances without any luck going for us.

well that's reassuring. As long as Lovenkrands is in the right place to miss, he's got a place in the XI Nah well thats the thing, although both options may be shit, having a player who gets into positions and misses is better than having a player who doesnt even get into those positions.
