Completely disagree with you. The sooner we get Smith off the wage bill, however we do it the better. This is his 4th season at the club and he has done very little in my eyes to see him worth 60k a week and how ever much Fat Sam bought him for. Once a good player, but now a poor player, off the pace, and a waste of money. Let him go for nowt. Anything more is a bonus

Its just that its so f***ing hard to believe that Ashley and co do not realise how undermanned and lacking quality and think that everything will be ok. I cannot fathom how f***ing stupid they are to approach the tranfer market in the way they are. I'm sure Ashley and Houghton know that we're lacking quality, but if we've got no money to spend on decent players - what else can we do? We can only afford to buy players on the cheap and go for cheap loan deals. Even if they do know, the fact that nothing is being done about it is ridiculous. As you said, all we can afford to do is buy players on the cheap and get players in on loan, but the fact of the matter is, we have failed to even do that successfully.

Pissed off yes... To effectively go on strike? I don't think he is within his rights on that one.. No i completely agree with you there. He hasnt been very professional and has acted like a child. He is French after all... This is what worries me if we get him, he has acted like this before and will do it again. However, if he plays a large role in keeping us up, i wont mind it too much.

So from what i understand, Deschamps prefered Niang to HBA and in doing so told HBA that he would be better off going elsewhere because his oppurtunities would be limited because they play the same role. So then Niang gets sold and all of a sudden Deschamps does a 180 and decides he now wants the services of HBA and doesnt want him to leave. If these are the facts, HBA is well within his right to be pissed off.

We've got little, if any, depth in the wing positions. Dont see why we couldnt play Ben Arfa and keep Jonas. Im actually quite concerned at our lack of players on the wing, a long term injury to either Jonas or Routledge we've got a major issue.

Ha well thats not saying much is it. Im not sure...i think Barton will FINALLY come good, but then again, i keep saying that about Smith.
