    MLS

Atlanta's entrance in the league has been nothing short of refreshing. Hope other expansion teams use them as a blueprint.
  2. He's impressed me a few times I've seen him for Mexico, but, Corona does stands out a lot more. He's annoyingly good.
  3. PAthetic excuse for penalties. Should've buried them before anyway, Sels has glued himself to the bench for the rest of the season, too.
  4. He is somehow a constant villain against us. Can't bring myself to hate him because he's so bad, though
  5. Bet he hasn't even read the books
  6. Really? best thing i have read in a while Incredible how poorly they're scheduled. Three in three months preventing the domestic season from getting rolling, then nothing until March
  7. Pretty sure Arena is just a stop-gap coach to qualify for the World Cup. He knows the region and will play to our strengths. Oscar Pareja is a great MLS manager and will hopefully take over after Russia.
  8. We were still Newcastle in 09/10 and had less going for us. We're going to be fine and we'll be a Premier League team next season.
  9. Bruce Arena likely to take over. Fun times
  10. He was pretty bad, Gonzalez put him under unnecessary pressure for the first tbf, but still not good at all. Begs the question, why are so many of our players - especially Brooks - playing well for their club and awful for us?
  11. I'm pretty sure the players just quit on Klinsmann there, and I really hope they did. Starting Chandler over Yedlin and Jones over Kljestan is pretty incredible, but that's just the least of what he's done. I don't know how likely it is that he goes soon, but I've lost all hope under him. This is the deepest team we've ever had and he's completely mismanaged them.
  12. For real, why does anyone care that much? Stop fitting into the miserable English stereotype so much. Most footballers have zero personality, it's nice to see something different sometimes
  13. I like it too, at least it's somewhat original and unique. Fits him well
  14. Doubtful, he's been pretty genuine this whole time and only praised Rafa. Not sure why a charity talk in Chicago would be his prime time to lie for fun
  15. Apparently during the Istanbul halftime Rafa started directing tactics with 12 men on the field so someone had to tell him. Could hardly speak English then, too. Also, Didi Hamann's preferred taxi hauling method is lying down on the ground in front of a cab.
  16. I'm at a Jamie Carragher talk-in and the moderator is some self-loathing Newcastle fan. Turns out it's Pete Graves. #wait
