  1. Liverpool for the title and Mane signing of the season
  2. Definitely missed Klopp celebrations this summer
  3. Sunderland filling their American quota by starting Gooch
  4. I almost forgot about the huge gap between their commentary and what actually happens. Gonna be a long season.
  5. Listening to a Mick Lowes with terrible audio quality. The magic of the Championship
  6. There were ways to listen outside the UK last time we were down, I'm sure they'll pop up again
  7. A Season With Verona is really good, pretty quick to get through even though it's a decent length. The writing does date itself a bit, especially when he starts talking about "blacks." Cool to read about some players with Verona at the time, Gilardino was just starting his career, Mutu was there, as was Oddo. Definitely a good read. Never read The Miracle of Castel di Sangro, but here's a great article about by the author's son http://www.newyorker.com/books/page-turner/lessons-from-my-father Depressing, but good, and some insight into his reasons behind writing the book.
  8. I'm sure I'll last two weeks before I forget Hull 0-3 Leicester Burnley 1-1 Swansea Crystal Palace 0-0 West Brom Everton 2-2 Spurs Middlesbrough 1-0 Stoke Southampton 3-1 Watford Man City 4-0 Sunderland Bournemouth 1-1 Man Utd Arsenal 2-1 Liverpool Chelsea 2-0 West Ham Newcastle 3-1 Huddersfield
  9. Finally read Soccer in Sun and Shadow, hoping to knock off the remaining few football books on my list over the next few months. Anyone read Red or Dead by David Peace? Loved The Damned Utd, reviews don't seem as good for this one though.
  10. Some awful individual performances out there. At least we can move on and I don't have to watch next week.
