Some of the worst few months in the club's history when he passed and we were set to the start the Championship during a miserable preseason. Thankfully we got out of that quickly, but it was really tough. Wish I could've experienced more of him, but love going through reading old stories. What a guy.

I'll take any decent striker at this point. He has his drawbacks, and I'm not sure how Pardew can handle a team without a target man, but as long as there's someone up there who can score I don't care who it is.

It picked up markedly after Christmas when it became clear we were going to piss the league. The 5-1 against Cardiff was fantastic, largely due to the fact it was a Friday night kick off and everyone was pissed. I always forget how dire the first half of the season, just a bunch of 1-0 wins. It wasn't until a few of those January moves that we started looking like a dominant side.

Going to see Man Utd/Real Madrid next weekend and Madrid have left out basically everyone I'll get to see Isco and Bale at least. Man Utd's squad looks decent thankfully.
