Yeah, I've come to enjoy the summer schedule. The only problem is they should schedule a lot more games during the day. But, it'll probably be best for the league in the long run, and if they really want to compete with other, bigger leagues, they'll have to switch.

I would imagine Johnson slots in when he's healthy.
-
World Class btw
-
Yeah, so they're basically in as long as they get fourth. 2-0. Look so much better in a 4-5-1
-
Just gave us and Colo a namedrop though

Seems like it. It is a pretty attacking team out there, they just look listless and sloppy when there is a chance. I like Johannsson though.

He has been. This is pretty shit so far

Played against Josh Gatt and Soony Saad, both in non-competitive games. Gatt is at Molde but often injured, would probably in the national team if he was healthy. And Saad plays for Kansas City, he's from near my hometown and frequently drops in at an indoor field where everyone from the area plays. He's having his breakout year now, so not sure if he's going to risk kickabouts with us anymore.

As good a team as we could ask.

"There is no dross in Andros...Townsend" Er, thanks Martin

? Italy and Holland have better teams than them. On paper they're on par with Portugal and Holland. France. I'd add Uruguay purely on offensive power. Belgium lack a lot. They're not great at any position. People always underrate Italy in these discussions. As if them getting to the final last year never happened and they aren't the 2nd most successful international team. Thought he had mentioned Italy. For me Italy is the 5th best team in the world. If I arranged it by levels it would be: Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Germany Italy Belgium, Holland, Portugal, France, England, Uruguay Argentina and Uruguay down a level for me. I may be biased, but I'd put us on that second level too.. I would too, tbf (about Holland)

I remember always wanting to play them after 2006 since we were similar nations in talent and how we approach the game, but our national teams have gone in completely different directions after that. Except they're a lot more shit than we are good. Did play them in 2010 warmup game and Edson Buddle scored, so

There was an NFL game there recently

Service is their main issue, no one's going to score with with that midfield behind them.

Those are hilarious, doesn't even serve the purpose of what a screen that big should do. Only one app open at a time ffs

Lukaku ffs He's going to develop into something amazing.

This is such an absurd time for a Friday game, especially since it's in KC. And no one has any explanation to why, there's not even baseball playoffs to compete with. I wish I had planned accordingly, now I'll be stuck in class when it starts.

We don't really have any youth players or newcomers on the team, and Klinsmann has made it pretty clear he doesn't think any of the U20 players/uncapped young players won't be with the team before or during the World Cup.

He's covered his tracks there, but he didn't specify that in his initial comments so I'm not surprised by the reaction. They were pretty obtuse statements.

Poyet brought a League One team into the Championship and made them instantly competitive while playing decent stuff, it's not surprising he's thought of well. He never gave them the final push though, and Sunderland are shit, so I can't expect much. January will be big for them.

I know the academy story. Lavish spending doesn't seem to fit his character. Definitely not down to lavish spending His failed academy is well documented.
