Grant Wahl @GrantWahl 4m @TheOffsideRules @MikeQuarino At another press conference Bocanegra finally replied to another MJ question: "What do you want me to say?"

Probably just contract leverage, but would be nice to see him in Europe again. Upgraded directv to get NBC Sports and ended up with more channels and paying $4 less per month.
-
They definitely need strikers if Lamela goes, would be a good move imo.

Thinking Sewelly might be working for NUFCtv soon with photography skills like that
-
Sewellyy: Didn't ask about signings, sorry lads. I'm a wuss when the moment comes. Just saw that. I let him know his failures.
-
He better give us all the itk
-
His positioning is godawful, too. There's almost no awareness from him of where the other defenders are lined up

Jeremy Wilson @JWTelegraph 22s Told by a good source that Mike Ashley responded to Arsenal £10.2m bid for Cabaye by saying "which part of him do you want?"

How can you be so fucking stupid?

Not even one game in and a 10mil bid ruins things. Can't wait. -
You'll probably find we're the ones who've made it public to up the fee/generate further interest. We've been publicly generating interest all season by bigging the fella up. I wouldn't be surprised if this is Ashleys way of getting the fans back for slagging his drinking partner. 'don't sell Cabaye, we'll fackin' show'em Joe'. Pack of cretinous cunts. the question is who benefits making this public, us? no not really if anything it hurts us. Arsenal? Makes them look like they're doing something in response to the defeat and wengers on the case to sort it out trust wenger hes about to go on a spending spree blah blah blah If we've intended to sell him all summer, I'd argue we benefit immensely from having this interest made public because any other interested parties have to either shit or get off the pot. I happen to think he's the one marked as the sacrificial lamb this year and he's probably also (rightly) pissed that he was sold the dream by Billy Liar (AP) which has turned to shit. As you can see, I'm hugely cynical when it comes to all matters NUFC these days. I don't doubt we would make something like this public, just not right before our first game.

Top class post as always womble -
Yep not bothered about the offer, but trying to buy players on the day of the game is well to say it lacks class is an understatement. As others have said, we wouldn't hesitate to do the same. Aye, we're cunts too. Doesn't make it less annoying.
-
More annoying than the price of the bid is it going public hours before our first game of the season.
-
Surprised at the reaction to this. Wouldn't be the first time a club has bid what they felt is market value even though the club values the player more, don't think that makes them arrogant.

Excited for this now, regardless of all the shit going on, it's just nice to watch football again. -
