Soony Saad had a brace for SKC last night, played against/with him many times in five-a-side indoor. Kind of annoys everyone because all he has is a speed and a nice shot so they think they're just as good, and tbh I kind of feel the same way Also, we need to somehow speedup Nagbe's citizenship process.

He wont come in and be a revelation or anything, 15 goals in all comps sounds about right.

What a shit post. Not sure how anyone is surprised people who grew up in different sporting cultures and don't share the same history as you could approach a situation differently.

Can't believe so many people are surprised we want Altidore to do well I put Newcastle and the US on pretty similar levels, with Newcastle a bit more important, but I'm not going to hope my country's only decent striker will be shit in a World Cup year. It's not that I don't hate Sunderland either, it took me a season or two as a fan to really feel it, so I'm not going to hope they do well. Just hope one player does well enough and tests himself in a top league.

Disappointed I'm going to have to stop hating Beckerbro soon. Decent result, Corona's goal was nice, hope he plays his way into the WC squad.

Didn't listen, but anyone who's watched Altidore over the past year knows he was a good purchase. His style really fits the league too, as long as he's getting service he'll score a few.

He played AM in most of those games. I remember Stoke vividly - he was horrible. Still not his position though, also a place where he's attempting a higher number of risky passes. Passing clearly isn't his strength, but I don't think he's as bad as those stats.

I would expect that to improve if he's playing in the middle, he's clearly not comfortable out wide so it's not surprising his passing numbers aren't great.
