No, I was not taking the piss, I try to be respectful on your site unless someone attacks me in which case I reserve the right to defend myself, I generally only comment on threads that are connected to West Brom. By the way Gorilla, have you tried anger management!

I did not bump it, for some reason it was in front of me when i opened the site, I was not saying St James' was out of a box by the way, I'm talking about The Walker Stadium and the like. St James' is fantastic, a bit high for me as an away fan though considering I get dizzy when I wear thick socks!

Must be why its the highest ground in the country. Remember that for your next pub quiz! Was at the Hawthorns the other night, was very impressed by it. Lovely tight little ground, reminded me a bit of White Hart Lane. Thankyou, its not the biggest ground in the world but its tidy, with good facilities and its not one of these modern, out of a box stadiums with no soul!

I think everyone had forgotten, thanks for reminding us... c***. At least we have a decent stadium though. Abuse for what, saying the same as you drrrrrrrrrr! :clap2:At least we own our stadium and we don't have a fat bloke destroying our club! Was just kidding, but you've angered me now. Despite us having a fat bloke destroy our club we are still doing well and we haven't been a yoyo club for years. Even if you are top now we will be again soon. And with what our club had gone through in the last few seasons to get the crowds we do is nothing short of magical. I think your boy is the one chomping

    Points target

Trust me,West Brom fans are not getting excited about Cardiff, we are too used to disappointment to fall for dreams like that, Cardiff will not go bump,YET, they have next years season ticket money in the bank after the gullible fans payed up front. Points target, well who knows, I think we are five points ahead of our points total last time we got promoted, it will be over 90, but by how much, pure guess work!

It will always be St James' Park to any propper fotball fans, these joke names are just that, a joke for a few weeks, but like all jokes soon forgotten!
  9. Not what I have heard, they owe £7.5 million to the tax man, will all become clear this morning!
  10. They've played Forest twice. They've got Cardiff away next Tuesday though. Our last game with any of the top four!
  11. Is your banter this s*** in person? Oh no, I'm just being polite!
  12. Just like to say, no penalties for us tonight, what went wrong!
  13. Really? I hadnt heard that Yes Billy Davies if fuming since the transfer window closed and he has no proper left back, blaming transfer policy!
  14. Hopefully you'll get revenge on Forest in the return fixture. We got it in first!
  15. Obviously I'm rather pleased tonight. However, I posted after your win against Cardiff that you should keep some perspective, same applies tonight for us, we won, you lost, long way to go, some of our squad are absolutely knackered from playing so many games, hence we have scraped the last two wins. As I say, long way to go, I think we both want Forest to self destruct, apparently Manager and Chairman have fallen out over January transfer policy so that looks positive for both of us.
  16. You need to keep a little context, good result, but if you listen to Dave Jones comments you will see they were down to the bare bones of their squad, Mcphail is just recovering from cancer treatment. Cardiff are always a funny side because they have a small squad and rely on accademy players at times, still good win, your big squad will pay dividends during this hectic period. Bugger off man. You didn't even see the game so how can you say "keep a little context"? That was the best performance I have seen from Newcastle for over 2 years man. We have been playing like s**** for so long, surely we can celebrate a fabulous team performance. I don't know about anyone else but before the game I was expecting us to have a hard time against Cardiff. And as for saying Cardiff are down to the bare bones, we had Enrique, Steven Taylor and Colocinni out ffs. We were immense tonight and the game and atmosphere was f***ing class. I would suggest a few people posting on here did'nt see the game, as I said good result for you, but as I said keep it in context, Cardiff have a very decent first twelve players but they are very thin after that, thats why they always have great results one week and bomb out the next, been doing the same thing for the last four seasons or so.

Barnes declared he is weeks away from fitness today, we will see!

  19. Very good win for you tonight, scored early to put the game out of reach of Cardiff, see if we can respond tomorrow, we were looking very leggy against Blackpool towards the end, 5 games in 15 days this will be 6 in 18, I am not over confident but we will see. Enjoy your day of peace tomorrow, just watch gloat and enjoy!
  20. I agree, Capello and the FA have handled this as well as could have been done.

Oh we have no money, but we have no debt, thats real wealth in todays football world! Your finance director said that you were £7m in debt in December. What's happened since then to correct that? He has an interesting accounting style, for instance the sale of Robinson to Bolton £2.1 million and Greening to Fulham £5 million, will not show on this years acounts, he defers payment for tax reasons, this is an annual event for us, Cuntis Davis to Villa being another example, all loan deals which are permenant at the end of the season, no get out. Us fans hate his prudence but it probably means we are always going to exist, abeit in some sort of footballing twilight zone between Championship and Premiership. Aye, all my Bolton supporter friends are delighted with the Robinson transfer de-ligh-ted £2.1 million for an average 30 year old fullback with dodgy knees (bits missing from birth), told you our chairman is a financial wizard!
  22. A combined total of 7 penalties in your last 8 games with 5 being for you, should strike you as a slightly more severe statistic than those of a guy who falls down around the half way line. We get just as many fouls against us as are given. Your penalties (a massively more advantageous decision) arent being balanced out & the imbalance is taking place in much more important areas of the pitch. Ie stopping the opposition scoring unfairly & getting the easiest possible chances to go ahead down the other. I dont think its the same really. West brom have played better football than us several times this season, both of the league games id say you knocked it about better due to our lack of a central midfield. But you have been very very lucky over the last few games to still be in the title race. The Fa cup also. Its a view, but I would question how lucky we have been, time will tell!

    Wasted Talent

Shearer also had great touch, passing, crossing, shooting and decent pace (before injury) - think he had most of the talent you need to be a world-class player. It might have been achieved through a load of graft on the training ground, not sure if that makes a difference. We had him on trial as a kid and let him go!
