  1. Your lot were brilliant, totally outplayed us. Impressive stuff tbh, cack as we were. Thanks for your generous words, I think our best players finally found some form the last couple of games, we have been misfiring before that, I know you had a lot of players out. Man City next, that'll be interesting.
  2. Well we got the result, more than I expected I must admit. Not here to gloat, good luck for the rest of the season. Ba is certainly some player, may get interest from the money bags clubs I would imagine.
  3. I see you are putting us with two promoted teams, we came up with you don't forget!
  4. Two more for the crowd tonight! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2077053/Thugs-early-Christmas-present-judge-postpones-curfew-football-match.html#ixzz1hC15QoZk
  5. Enjoy the game! Win or lose, I will not post again for a bit as I will either get abuse or have to experience you lot crowing, remember, whatever the outcome, things are a lot better than two years ago for both clubs!
  6. Liverpool football club still do not accept he did anything wrong, mind you they did nothing wrong at Heysel either!
  7. Good news for us , Mulumbu is by far their best player. Apparently James morrison also out for them now due to Hamstring injury, he scored for them at the weekend. Theyve had to recall 3 players from loan News update Mulumbu and Scharner passed fit, Morrison out with hamstring injury, Dorrans for Morrison I would think otherwise same as Saturday.
  8. If Gera had not got crocked, he would definitely have gone 4-5-1, but he is persisting with Long and Odemwingie up front hoping they come good. If he does go 4-5-1, it will be Dorrans in behind Long or Odemwingie, unlikely, but with the potential that all of our defensive midield are injured, it is possible. What's your likely line-up if Scharner, Morrison and Mulumbu are out? I can see Jones coming in at Right back and Reid, Brunt, Thomas, Dorrans being the midfield, if that happens we are down to the bare bones. I expect Morrison to be out as he has a hamstring, one of Scharner and Mulumbu will probably make it.

  10. Hi Newcastle fans, just a few lines prior to the game, I will be very pleased with a draw for us, Mulumbu, Scharner and Morrison all a doubt, I see you have a few out as well, but overall, I would expect you to win after your excellent start to the season. We have not been great so far this season, bit of a change in style with Hodgson, far more defensive minded and a mis firing Long and Odemwingie partnership up front. Your old mate Ollson has been playing well though. I predict 3-1 to the Toon.
  11. Very much respected by the footballing community, thoughts with his family, RIP.
  12. Very good result, always difficult at Stoke, up to third, very impressive!
  13. I think considering we both came up this year we should be pleased with a mid table finish, both now look stable but with room for improvement. Losing a 3 goal lead is a bit of a pisser, we did it v Wet Spam, anyway, enjoy the closed season, see you next year!
  14. Well well, bit of a come back, still probably the result most of us expected before the game, boing boing, see you next season!
  15. Nice tribute. http://www.wba.co.uk/page/News/0,,10366~2363118,00.html
  16. It will be an interesting comparison on Sunday, Jonas out then, is that a miss?
  17. Been a good season overall, good that we have both ended up mid table. Odemwingie will stay, fairly sure about that, I came on here a while ago comparing Tiote and Mulumbu, think Mulumbu has been the better signing although I know you all rate Tiote. Anyway, should be a decent game, hope we get the win to finish on a high. No. Seven goals for a defensive midfielder now being chased by Bayern Munich tends to suggest otherwise!
  18. Fair point, but we have moved on, decent squad now, decent manager as well, I would expect a similar position next year.
  19. Funny, I thought you were over achieving a little! LOl

  21. I would'nt say you are safe yet, but you are only a couple of results away, the way its going, the line will be crossed on around 42 points, so many involved, no one cut adrift yet.
  22. I would not be opposed to Pearson, he did a decent job at Leicester as well, its a funny job at the Albion, we have appointed young promising managers since Megson, good enough to get us promoted, but not good enough to keep us there, within our tight budget, the budget is the real issue, operating within strict financial constraints means more established managers steer well clear.
  23. It may be Jeremy Peace was not prepared to spend money on a manager with limited life, JP backed him in the summer, probably the best squad we have had since the 80's, the feeling is that the squad is good enough, its the tactics which are at fault, but I get your point, the new man will have to work with what he has.
  24. Everyone was disgusted with Hughtons treatment, but its a results driven business, so I suppose time ran out for him, only our fourth manager in 11 years.
