  1. I think the feeling was do it now and give ourselves a chance of avoiding the drop, truth is, the whole club and fans are weary of yo-yoing, ultimately, every yo-yo eventually ends up just dangling on the end of piece of string.
  2. Rumours he lost the dressing room, general feeling we should have been more active in the transfer window, missed out on Carew through dallying, normal shit.
  3. Banged to rights, fair cop, LOL, time will tell who is the better!
  4. Don't mis quote me, I said we looked at both, we chose Mulumbu, who i still believe will be a good player. To be fair you did say Mulumbu was better, I told you at the time there was no point in trying to argue to the point because it was an argument you would never "win" on a Newcastle forum. As for managers, if it was thought Di Matteo didn't have the experience to turn it round I don't think Hughton would be your man. Allardyce wouldn't work for you lot either imo. To be absolutly fair, i think I said the club felt that Mulumbu was the better option, I favour going for Derek Mcinnes from St Johnstone, played for us 2001-2003, bit of a folk hero for us.

  6. they were linked with him too, don't know how seriously Thats correct, Tiotes doing very well for you, so is Mulumbu for us, but he is young and we need a manager who can set a defence,Mowbray and RDM could'nt do that.
  7. Yes thats right, the technical director provides a range of players, the manager and the technical director then decide who to go for, they then try to do the deal, not everyones cup of tea.
  8. Not entirely unexpected, lacked the experience to turn things around, used to a winning team only I suppose, Chris Hughton is being touted as a possible replacement along with fat Sam, what do you think?
  9. Genuine best of luck, its pretty shitty when something you care about so passionately is in the hands of morons, been there!
  10. Is it likely to be Matin Jol then, seems to fit the bill and he likes the Premiership and wants a route back in, I think he would be a decent option.
  11. Very easy to underestimate what a great job he has done for you, getting out of the Championship is not as easy as he made it appear, many clubs have failed to do that, very hasty decision, very hasty indeed.
  12. Bit of a shock, most of football thought he was doing a very decent job, MOD 2 only said last night, seems a very rash move to me. Good luck with your next appointment, how about Derek McInnes?
  13. I was at your place 2008/09 up in the gods when ripped us apart.Good game though, we nearly got it back.

    Sol Campbell

Play him every game and you are as good as down, (as a neutral, after today), he is so slow. I know injuries and suspensions are forcing your hand but he is not up to it anymore.
  15. See what I mean. It's hardly claiming we deserved 3 points. We stood off and allowed you to play the centre of you're midfield wasn't very physical and we should have attempted to exploit that instead we tried to out pass a strong attacking midfield and failed. Chuck in a handful of really s*** dives from Tchoyi and tame efforts from James Morrison and that was the game, you dominated possession but the goals were all down to our own mistakes. Most goals are down to mistakes, Tchoyi and Thomas were both guilty of diving, we certainly ain't world beaters, but we were decent today, particularly first half. Guttierez is prone to a bit of diving on his day though, he is not the player he was is he, lost a yard.
  16. Obvious that Carroll led with his elbow into Scharner after Scharner had given him two mans challenges that put him in his pocket all afternoon, Carroll even had to cheat for the consolation goal, never mind, he can go and beat up some women now to get his manliness back! Scharner owned Carroll! Learn to win with grace you've talked a lot of tosh since the game. 'Man challenges'? Are you Alan Hansen or something? Just take a look at some of your predictions before the game to learn about grace, some decent posters on here but some are very, very misguided about where we both sit in the footballing world! I came on here and praised you when you got promotion, misguided no, honest yes. Carroll has done very well this season, but he was taken down a peg or two today, will probably do him good in the long term.
  17. Poor, very poor, ridiculous challenge v Blackpool, lucky not to get punished v Everton.

Scharner owned Carroll! Scharner did own Carroll, but it's not like he didn't go in with his elbow, even before Carroll did. How many yellows today, come on, all Newcastle players are unlucky saints whose farts smell of roses, all Albion players are inferior cheats. Right........ just listen to yourselves once in a while!

  20. Any way, beat Liverpool and Birmingham, keep them down the bottom, especially those arrogant Scouse gits .
