Still not convinced Swansea are this special side everyone thinks, Everton have been patchy so far as well, think us and Everton could be the ones though. You've watched Swansea right? It's not a new thing, been a great side to watch for a while. Also Everton are the only unbeaten side this season. Obviously, being a great side to watch doesn't put points on the board though. Last season was an unacceptable, abhorrent mess as far as Newcastle fans were concerned and an historic peak for Swansea but we only finished 5 points off them. Jesus f***ing Christ. Stop ignoring a ridiculous amount of circumstances ffs. You are either on the wind-up or just really, really simple. Are you struggling to separate discussions here too? Irrespective of Laudrup's ability or his style of football, his trinkets or pardew's shortcomings or the rhetorical discussion of whether i would like Laudrup to come in at the expense of Pardew. The fact is, in discussing the likely finishing places, we have 5 points to make up on our worst season bar relegation to catch up with their best season ever. It's not beyond the realms of possibility. Context. Look it up.

Aye and we both started from even circumstances too. Same infrastructure and wage budget... Both our clubs players have to train in a public gym. Both our clubs won a cup mid-season that put us into Europe so points in the league didn't really matter any more and we could experiment with different players and relax ect... Oh no wait... HF is a complete idiot.

Tbf there is still a sizeable portion jumping at the chance to declare just how thick they are.

I can't take that. I just can't. 20th richest club in the world iirc. 3rd largest crowds in the PL. But for some completely f***ed up reason you say we can't compete with the big clubs. And since not a single one of us expects to compete financially with Man City and Chelsea, I can only assume that by "big" clubs you mean the likes of Southampton, Fulham and f***ing Norwich. Just f*** off you cowardly, lying cockend. We all know that we could compete with them easily if we wanted, we're just owned by a thief who is creaming money out of the club and into his horrid, tatty, charva clothes shop. I take your points but I don't think there's anything wrong with the statement "We haven't got the finances of a big team," of itself. We're not bankrolled by Russian or Arab oil money. We don't have the commercial reach of Man United to sell an ungodly number of shirts in every corner of the globe. You're right that doesn't mean we shouldn't be doing better in transfer windows. But there's nothing wrong with the actual statement. There is something utterly wrong with the statement though. He's insinuating that there's a problem with the fans expectations. Ie that we're being unrealistic. And that's simply not what's happening, we just don't expect to have our manager come out and say we can't compete financially with f***ing Southampton ffs. The money has always been there for players the club feel are the right fit. Stop right there brah. This premise here- this is a completely unproven and unprovable proposition that just so happens to fit your agenda. It is also the claim of proven liars who admitted to deliberately misleading and deceiving fans in the past. Its a load of shit really.

That's exactly it, he exacerbates the idea of NUFC fans being impatient and unreasonable when it's patently not the case. The people that let him get away with it in our support are braindead, I'm f***ing sick of it. This guy's taking the p*ss out of the fans and a lot of people can't even see it, many of them falling for the Kinnear decoy. I don't know how anyone can stomach the "man" that is Alan Pardew My interest in NUFC is at about a 3 on a scale of 1-100 until this shambles of a human being is gone. Fair play to anyone still responding to Ian/BretNUFC/ect.
  8. You just like stand out by arguing against what you perceive to be the majority opinion, don't you LucaAltieri? You are a special snowflake. You don't need to go through all this trouble to show everyone.
  9. It was a goal against Fulham ffs. Guessing your expectations have dropped then. Felt like more than just a goal on Saturday, i'm sure i'm not the only one in the ground that felt that. Special moment. Why would my expectations drop? I've always maintained with Ben Arfa in our side, anything is possible, he's that good. I fancy us to be top 8 if we steer clear of any major injuries to key players. The talent is the there, Remy/Ben Arfa will be too much for a lot of sides in this league. Special Moment. f*** off Neesy man. No need to be a prick. Gonna be a long day on here today. The Spinners are just getting warmed up. Jack man, you have to be the most sniping and non-contributory poster on here. It's ridiculous at times. All Brett is saying is that he enjoyed Ben Arfa's goal and it was a good moment, which is clearly true. There you are jumping to the defence of neesy having a dig at him for absolutely nothing. I know we all have different views about Pardew etc but the sniping goes too far sometimes. Much better if we could just discuss the issues. I'm not explaining my position again. I'll probably take a few days away form this place...
  10. Get the feeling "Ashley supports Sunderland" would not even generate a response with some! No the usual appeasers would still be coming out with the same tepid statements of support for him and still be in denial over what is happening. All wrapped up in the flag of " I support NUFC whatever happens" of course. Nothing is going to change anyone's minds it would seem. The camp of those who can't separate supporting NUFC with seeing themselves as actively underpinning this rotten regime, don't appear to have any tipping points at all. Likewise, In fairness, those of us in opposite camp: IE those who have had enough and wont be back or financially add anything to the club we love until they are gone, probably are well past the point of no return for the regime. There is probably nowt they could do to convince me they had the best intentions at heart for the club. Seems we will have to agree to disagree. Loyalty I guess means different things to different people. I cannot personally get my head around the position of the collaborators, or the appeasers at all mind. Battered wives syndrome springs to mind. This rotten, vile owner and regime know a % will just keep coming back for more slaps and black eyes, whilst they p*ss themselves laughing at the victims. As for the window activity "not arsed ether way". Nothing matters until things change at the top. We have an owner who doesn't want to be one, an ineffective, inept and corrupt manager who is a puppet, and a DOF who is simply a two fingered gesture to us. Signings or selling players is largely irrelevant, we are going nowhere until this is changed....Treading water. Standing still, which is actually taking the club in a backwards momentum in the real term. top post the bit in bold is a great description

Not this shit again Football clubs constantly use the media to communicate ffs, if you have even half a brain this is obvious. "bt why nt use the phone lol" go back to school ffs.
  12. Inochi right on cue The first search actually Ian - oh how I wish I could prove it to you!
  13. http://i43.tinypic.com/dxguwh.png Done this sort of thing even embarrass you or make you stop and think?
  14. How did you get this line so worryingly wrong? EDIT: Agree with the point like. I knew I was getting things drastically wrong but my brain is too fried to bother thinking how to say s*** properly
  15. What exactly to Aston Villa think their doing here? Don't they realise that they cant complete with Chelsea? Their squad costing 40million while Chelsea's cost 500m with 80m on the bench? They should lie over and accept their inevitable faith.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I'm no kebab expert but the one's I've eaten we're leaden with sauces - this is probably where the s*** probably is. did a little google ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/7841890.stm) Still, you're partly right though. In terms of body composition a few kebabs a week would be no problem at all for a professional footballer. Actually, never mind you're fully right provided the sauces are held

Perhaps things will pick up this season because Pardew earned his spurs last season by getting us over the line. Pardew with well earned spurs > Pardew.
  18. I don't think so, i saw some positives tbh. But i know its the popular thing to look at everything negatively mind. Disjointed, no style of play, no cohesion, boring. Same old, same old. Don't care what the popular opinion is btw and it certainly doesn't influence my opinion on the matter.
  19. Careful now. According to Inochi (sp? that Japaneese guy) making up quotes and attributing them to Alan Pardew is the saddest thing a man can do in this life.
