And the country goes mild

It's an overrated league, we saw this when we were there, the only reason people bang on about it being such a good league is because so many teams are evenly matched so it ends up being close aside from 1 maybe 2 teams pulling away, other than that they're evenly matched because there's a load of average shite. We weren't very good both of our times down there, especially under Rafa, nothing special whatsoever but ended up going up comfortably, this season I think the quality is at an all time low as even the teams coming down aren't great, I think Burnley will walk the league and from there it's literally anybody, it just takes a good run, the fact Forest managed to nearly get automatic promotion last season despite being bottom in October says everything you need to know.

As much as we hate them, I think people are underestimating what momentum, a couple of good signings and a decent atmosphere can do in this league. Unfortunately think they'll do well this season and will at least make the play offs
-
Would be ideal that and a good idea I think. I feel almost guilty at the minute having my season ticket, as I don't live in the area I won't get to every game, with some events I've got going on this year and next I reckon I'll probably get to just over 50% of home games, but I've renewed so that I can still have my seat, can hopefully get to some away games and be able to get a Wembley ticket if we get there, in regards to what I get for my money its not worth it on the surface but I couldn't face not having one. I dunno, probably won't make me very popular with those who couldn't get one and would go every week but it's one of those, I see it, with not living in the area I don't know any other fans I could lend it to either so its not ideal

No chance any away tickets are going to members sale either so bit harsh peddling that as one of the "benefits"
-
Club shop website is awful, trying to buy the 3rd shirt, for one its ridiculously slow, and then when I pick the shirt and choose the size medium it just keeps adding it to the bag as a small and no way of changing it, unreal

Ballots could be for anything to be fair, there was nothing in their announcement that made it seem like it'd be a ballot, just the usual announcement of them going on sale online and to get them from there, if it was a ballot they'd have announced it by now. Ballot could just be something they're setting up for the future, wembley tickets for example, maybe even some away games might have some tickets in a ballot as we speculated last season, not convinced it's linked to next weeks season tickets sale

It's alright saying it's short term thinking to turn on him now, but the notion that just because you achieve some great results in years past it means you're immune to any criticism is just as ridiculous. End of the day we should have beat Croatia in 18 and Italy last year, but we didn't because of Southgates negative shitting himself tactics. No doubt Southgate has been far far better than expected when he was appointed, and honestly the last two tournament's have been the most I've enjoyed following England probably ever, however, every manager, every person in everyday life in any position of power, has a ceiling, I feel Southgate might have reached his. I pray I'll be proven wrong, but I think this is a team that can win something, but, under Southgate they never will. This isn't just me reacting ro these games either, I think most England fans, whether they admit it or not, have had the same feelings over the past few years, we've peaked the last two tournaments, it's been an amazing ride, but we're at a crossroads now and decisions need to be made.

VAR is so weird, what's the rationale for that not being a pen? He fouls him, just because he didn't see him doesn't mean its not a foul, if he doesn't kick his foot he doesn't knock him over, I just don't get their thinking when reviewing that.

Scotland going to get back level in this

Forest are a proper club like, as much as I would've laughed if they hadn't gone up the history of the club and everything about it is premier league. They have a large chav element of fans in my experience but it's a massive club and at least we're getting a club coming up that will bring proper support next season, I'd much rather play Forest than the likes of Fulham, Bournemouth, Burnley etc
-
They kept replaying the worse fucking angle for some reason, initial angle front on showed it was a clear penalty, unbelievable

Just gave me a flashback to that Tuesday night, Saturday teatime back to back wins away at Brighton and Huddersfield What a couple of games man, remember going into that week genuinely thinking we could lose both and be in big trouble. One of the few highlights of the Ashley era that
-
Gerrard and Owen fucking hell - "Liverpool are the best team ever, yeah didn't win the league or this, but just unlucky init, Liverpool best team in the World, don't need to win things to know that, trust"
-
Open top bus parade already set for tomorrow to parade the EFL and FA Cup (I know we'd have one just for winning anything but Liverpool parading them would be like us doing one for winning the Championship)
-
No doubt there's some incompetence by stewards etc, but it's funny these sort of incidents always seem to involve Liverpool fans
-
Man just watching the build ups to the Cup Final the other week and now thus tonight, it's hitting me different. For thr first time in forever it doesn't feel like an impossible dream that it'll be us in these sort of games soon. It's making me a bit giddy now just watching it and thinking in the next few years it could be us, and thinking how it'll feel etc, so fucking special man, imagine the scenes in Newcastle City centre for us in a champions league final on a Saturday night
-
Sky are showing all the goals as they've gone in tomorrow as well now with Stelling on the Soccer Special, will be able to show them from all 10 games as well, so looks like watching that will be the best bet

One of the main reasons they are in the situation their in is their obsession with us, genuinely. Season after season in the Prem their sole focus was beating us, if they beat us then their season was a success regardless of where they finished or what else happened that season. This was never so obvious as to when they kept changing manager just before the Derby, subsequently beating us, then relaxing and being shite again until they play us and rinse and repeat. If they actually focused on themselves and building a club to compete in the Premier league rather than a team to just try and beat us twice a year, they might still be there. In a way us being so shit under Ashley actually fast tracked their demise because they were so happy to be able to beat us for those 6 times in a row, that that's all they focused on, there was no plan, no strategy, no aims to build an infrastructure to survive in the league and thrive, it was just make sure they beat us and that's it. It's no coincidence they were relegated the season we weren't in the league either. Then once they're relegated they don't have us to focus on to mask everything else, so what happens? Attendances drops no ones arsed (apart from if they go to Wembley) there's no plan, owners are allowed to take the piss and they have nothing to cling to. It's so shortsighted and so small minded man, it's obsession on another level and as I say it's one of the exact reasons they're where they are now, and one of the exact reasons they'll never compete with us on any level. Hope they get smashed today, but my one consolidation now is even if they do back to back promotions, we'll be so far ahead of them that 6 in a row will never even get close to happening again, and we'll go back to beating them all the time that they'll be more miserable losing to us in the Premier League than they would losing to Burton in League One.

Ripple of applause when they were carrying the empty stretcher off
-
Wilson doing his best Cisse impression tonight
-
Loftus Cheek has been shite since coming on
-
Not sure if sky have muted rhe Leeds fans as they usually chant about them, but the atmosphere sounds awful for such a big night game
-
Patrick Roberts far too good for this league/Sunderland

Wednesday are dreadful, got no confidence they'll turn this round like
