  1. Going to be even more interesting when we get to Wembley. Usually an allocation of 30k tickets and we're likely going to have 44k season ticket holders...be a lot of people missing out
  2. Same old story here like, atmosphere sounds awesome at the start, we atart playing, crowd realise we're still shite and the atmosphere dies
  3. Starts for West Ham tonight. What a joke man, great example "abuse a cat, still play with no repercussions". Sickening
  4. One of the worst cup draws ever that like Literally Kidderminster/West Ham is the only interesting tie
  5. Think people are back to where they were last season with Fulham like with the overrating of Watford, we're awful but make no mistake Watford are shite as well, we've got every chance of beating these.
  6. To be fair they have a point, as do other clubs about postponements because if this. We're just acting up because it's directed at us but if the tables were turned I'd be fuming with Southampton as well. The whole thing is a piss take, we've just taken advantage of the Premier leagues incompetence like loads of other clubs the last few weeks, doesn't make it right mind. Yeah it helps us but it's bullshit the amount of games being called off/attempting to be called off. Clubs are taking the piss and it isn't right.
  7. Don't think we'll play until the Cambridge FA Cup game now like
  8. Wilson and ASM out meant we'll probably get the Everton and Southampton games called off now so at least we should be rested up for Watford and Leeds
  9. That Palace team today for fuck sake - pretty much full strength and they tried to get it called off. Premier League have created a massive issue for themselves like, clubs trying to get games called off left right and centre because they have a couple out and don't fancy it so using Covid to get it off, it's a fucking joke. You got Leeds who just have a few of their best players out but still have enough players to field a side but get their games called off, you've got Everton faking injuries so they meet the quota to get games off, no coincidence you've got loads of managers crying about this Xmas schedule then suddenly getting these "injuries and covid cases". When it's back to normal in January you won't see half the postponement requests.
  10. Yeah exactly I think that's the thing, thr unfairness Is that some teams get a game called off whereas others have to play, not that you've got a few players out injured/covid so have to play some reserves, teams have 25 man squads for a reason, games shouldn't be getting called off for a few players being out
  11. Five players out of a 25 man squad is nothing like, I don't understand how clubs are crying and trying to get games called off when it's like that, there's been plenty of examples over the years of teams having 5 injuries and being able to field a side, it doesn't add up. Chelsea and there huge squad had 4 players out last week and tried to get thr game called off ffs
  12. Buzzing for it to be honest, feels like it'll be the last game for probably a couple of months that we can attend so going to make the most of it. Got to make an individual choice as to whether you go like so I respect that but for me I've managed my risk and won't be seeing anyone who isn't fully boosted at Christmas and don't give a fuck about myself so happy to take it, I'm at the stage now tbh where I'd rather catch it and get ill and take a chancs rather than just sit at home like a hermit for months on end and not do things I like doing, because that's hardly living. Appreciate not everyone feels like that.
  13. They played last night with basically a full strength 11 and normal subs bench, so unless they get any more cases then absolutely no reason at all why it should be called off.
  14. I hate this notion that just because you’re doing relatively well you can’t show any disapproval against your team at all. They haven’t won since September and we’re pretty shit against a terrible Leeds side, nothing wrong with showing some anger at that. Its like oh because it’s little old Brighton and they’re doing alright they should be invading the pitch and celebrating a nil nil with Leeds because of how far they’ve come or something, fuck that, it’s not fickle it’s just showing some displeasure when the team have been shit. They’ve not calling for the manager out or any ridiculous shit like that, just a bit of booing because they’re pissed off at the poor performances since September, that’s all, it’s bullshit
  15. Players all off at Sheffield Wednesday as there’s a medical emergency in the crowd - the fuck is going on like, seems to be happening once a week now, as well as players collapsing it’s weird, not crying conspiracy or anything but it’s mad how often stuffs going on at the minute
  16. Still 5 points so not all lost, Leeds away at Spurs and Brighton in there next two so assuming we lose to Arsenal it'll be 5 points adrift going into the Norwich and Burnley games at home back to back, if we can take 6 points, or at rhe very least 4 I think we'll be ok
  17. The fuck is Arsenal v Watford doing on TV, awful choice, especially with Leeds v Leicester and Everton v Spurs being at the same time and infinitely more interesting games
  18. Jesus Christ we’re fucking awful, the fuck was that then when we tried to break out, couldn’t even pass 2 fucking metres
  19. Be fine now with Howe, think we’ll beat Brentford, Norwich and Burnley at home so even if we lose the rest of the tough fixtures up to January we’ll be nowhere near adrift
  20. Wonder how long the Sports Direct shite will still be plastered all over the stadium, wasn’t there some talk last year that as part of the deal the signage would remain? Even if they could just get it down off the East Stand for now, hate how it ruins the Newcastle United lettering. Probably be there rest of this season I guess
  21. How many season tickets are we allowed to sell does anyone know? Isn’t it like 35,000? They have to keep some back for public/members sale I believe? Plus hospitality, away fans etc. Couldn’t justify buying a season ticket as won’t get to every game so just wondering how many will be left over game to game to scramble for with a membership
  22. Yeah and even though they did go down the other year, that’s just one season, before then for years and now after, they’ve operated with the same premise of changing manager every few months and it’s worked, so pointless focusing on that one year it didn’t when for plenty of others it did and looks like it could continue to do so. ManDoon is right, it’s all about who comes in and the squad and whilst Watford’s is nothing special they have a knack of getting enough out of them with a change of manager regularly. It’s not for every one and as we’ve seen at loads of other clubs changing manager doesn’t always work, especially as regularly as they do it, but it’s clear that’s what the clubs vision is, they’re not interested in a Wenger/SAF type to create a legacy, they basically just want to stay in the Prem and have found a system that works for them, other than that one off season, but like I say they came straight back up and look alright this season. Its fascinating really as it’s so different to everything we know, and in theory it shouldn’t work, but if everyone at the club is bought in on it, which I seems they are, I guess that’s why it does, they’ve had some random managers as well which is refreshing not seeing them work through the same old PFMs.
  23. The thing is it works though, Watford have done this for years and it got them into the premier league where they established themselves for a few years before going down, but then now they’re straight back up and doing alright; all the while changing manager every few months. Its a weird one because it’s not the norm but it has worked for them
  24. Hughton getting sacked in the morning
  25. Sherwood sounds pissed up That or he’s having a stroke
