  1. He'd fit right in with decision making and finishing like that
  2. Shite this, fair play to Arsenal like too, PSG dont look like they'll even be able to manage a shot let alone a goal
  3. See Lincolns manager is going to join Bristol City now, despite "turning them down" a few weeks and signing a new deal. Always find stuff like this really disappointing and depressing. So exciting Lincoln being in the Championship, couod be a real adventure next year, Bristol City meanwhile will finish between 10th and 15th as they always do. Feel like you'd like to see him give it a go with Lincoln. Similar to how it will feel if Lampard ends up at Palace. I get it, and theyre probably getting more money etc, but its still disappointing.
  4. Yep come on guys, lay off Howe, if it wasn't for them bloody late goals, or us not scoring late goals, or goals conceded at any time really, we'd have not lost a game and won the league man. How is it his fault we kept conceding late goals, nothing to do with how he set up the team at all like. It's all just been bad luck, any other season we'd have gone unbeaten.
  5. 3-0 County, lovely to see Salford getting hammered. Leicester v Notts County as a league game next season.
  6. Aye because no one gives a shit

The most terrifying bit for me is that I dont just see this as a one off for them, and a one off for us. Looking at both clubs, theyre potentially ahead of us now, they'll definitely be looking forward to next season more than we will. Never thought this would happen this quick.
  8. Fantastic half. If the aim was to only be losing by 1 goal.

Really? Forest, Braga and Frieburg were in the last 4 this year. All shite. Frieburg got to the final and were bloody dreadful! Every chance they win it next season if they keep this team and add to it.
  10. Aye that's what im saying, if theyd kept that same squad theyd have finished on about 15 points, so either of these that come up will need to buy a new squad, like Sunderland did, to stand a chance, and im assuming Hull wont be able to, but unsure about Boro
  11. Whats Boro's finances like? As both of these look far worse than the Sunderland side that somehow came up last season. If they dont significantly add to their squads, ala Sunderland, we're looking at an all time low points total next season surely.
  12. He's definitely made football more boring IMO. The playing out from the back possession football, resulting in pass after pass between midfield and defence. As good as his City sides have been, and they've obviously been incredible, they've been dull as fuck to watch for a while now.

Appreciate its about a team rather than a squad, and over the years we've had/picked the "best" players and its not worked, but it seems mental to me that Gibbs-White, Bowen and Hall aren't in, yet the likes of Skelly, Henderson and Maduaeke are. Hopefully it pays off, and to be fair you look at teams that win tournaments there are random players in the line up, but this is the first tournament where there is a last 32, so its one where you're going to really need a squad more than ever, not just a decent 11. Doesn't fill me with confidence.
  14. I feel like the fairest thing, though would suck for Hull and those wanting West Ham or Spurs down, is just that only two come up from the Championship and only two go down from the Prem. That or replay the whole play offs, including Wrexham instead of Southampton, obviously they won't do that due to time and Hull did beat Millwall. Hull have only qualified for the final, they've not actually earnt promotion, so sending them straight up isn't fair, Middlesbrough lost their semi final, so they haven't earnt a final place. Southampton are thrown out.
  15. I guess so, it'll certainly be on the table you'd imagine. Be a massive decision to make mind so I still think the most likely outcome is a points deduction, whether in the PL or next time theyre in the EFL. Depends though, they might want to make an example of them. Problem then is that there's an appeal process so if they did sling them out, they'd, a - need to decide if Middlesbrough take their place, in which case the match Saturday surely cant go ahead as theyd need to await the appeal outcome or b whether Hull just go up.
  16. Southampton decision not going to be till tomorrow apparently and sporting sanctions rather than financial are going to be the punishment of found guilty. Crazy the game is meant to be this Saturday, youd assume Southampton will still be in it with such a late outcome...
  17. Think the season ends tomorrow tbh so wont matter what Arsenal do at Palace. City will draw with Bournemouth, i expect Spurs will get something at Chelsea, so that's title and relegation all sorted. Then we can all enjoy watching the race for Europe on Sunday and the Mackems finishing 7th

Can't believe its come to this but would rather they finish 7th than 8th now tbh, 7th is Europa so doubtful theyd win it, 8th in the Conference league which they would most likely win. This time last year we were on our way to finishing 5th and they had a Play Off final that they were big underdogs in coming up. Since then, theyve beat Sheff Utd, bought a whole new team beaten us twice, leapfrogged us within a year, likely to be in Europe when we wont be and have money to spend in the summer too apparently. Mental how quick things can change in football, no guarante next season will be majorly different either but we'll see. Depressing.
  19. Now do it against teams not in the bottom 3 and heading out of the division.
  20. They'll probably win it so its a trophy? Great experience to go and win something. As great as it is to qualify for the Champions League, a team like us or them are never going to win it. 75% of teams in the Champions League are just there to make up the numbers, other than pats on the back that youre in it, its just games for games sake IMO. That's that's a deeper discussion for another time mind.
  21. Never been more confident of us winning today, results have been shit so it'll be typical now that we win a nothing game to make sure Spurs stay up, the one funny thing that could happen this season over. Meanwhile, Arsenal win the league, Sunderland get Europa, Spurs stay up. Fuck this season.
  22. More concerned about them being in Europe than ahead of us, theyre going to end up getting in ffs
  23. Mackems going to end up winning this now
  24. This Mackems Everton game is dreadful, Everton in 9th, Sunderland just above us, both shite. It's a broken record now I know, but the quality up and down the league is absolutely dreadful this season, I think its at an all time low tbh, when you factor in atmospheres and exciting games too. In the 90s when the technical quality maybe wasn't as good, the atmospheres and excitement was much better. It's just shite now across the board.
