  1. My favorite ever non Newcastle player is Lampard, I know it's not conventional but I've always really liked him. Can't fully put my finger on it but I love him like. In saying that I'd still like us to batter these tomorrow and him get sent off like but yeah
  2. Could tell first half Liverpool were winning this, City never turn up at Anfield and this is always the sort of game Liverpool win
  3. Sounds like he's injured, hopefully he's not out long, love watching him
  4. Was at Hebburn yesterday, really decent set up to be fair, clubhouse is really smart. Good game against Grantham and finished 2 all, Grantham had a player sent off at nil nil. Really good support from Grantham too considering how far it is, brought about 50 and didn't stop singing all game. Not sure 2nd is a true position for Hebburn mind, feel they'll slip down the table a bit more

Reading have had a decent season so far as well so annoyingly this is a reallt good performance and win for the Mackems, said it since the start of the season and stand by it - these will unfortunately be in the play offs at least come the end of the season and may well go up.
  6. I guess at least the next game is Liverpool away, so even without injuries we'd expect to lose that, so if we take that and then be in a bit of a better position next Saturday then we've done alright
  7. Joelinton and ASM not at the races at all today yet like, going go Nedd go be on top form if we're going to get anything so hopefully they pick up
  8. I'm more concerned about the rumours that he might be off
  9. Was quite looking forward to this game, not at all now, going to be grim, will be extremely fortunate to get a point

Best bit about all of this is that it was them beating Stoke last weekend that led to them sacking their manager and taking Neil Unreal development, like I've said with him I genuinely think with Neil they had a good chance of the play offs this season. Be very interesting what happens now
  11. Early days but could easily see Liverpool finishing 3rd or something this season, something isn't right
  12. Think Man Utd will get something tonight
  13. Dunno if sky have repositioned the mics or whatever but the atmosphere doesn't sound half as loud as I thought it'd be

They're coming up. Championship is the worst it's been in years, they've got momentum. Really good start. Confident we'll beat them but think a lot on here are over rating the league/under rating them
  15. Don't think they'll genuinely get relegated but Man Utd remind me of us so much from say 2007 - relegation, after souness but pre relegation, aimless, fans still fairly expectant, at least for a decent standard of European football, but too many cloggers and players that aren't arsed etc
  16. City definitely have worse depth, however Haaland being so clinical will offset that...unless he gets injured of course. If him and De Bruyne stay fit all season (and Haaland will get a 5 week break whilst the World Cup happens) then they'll be miles (at least 10 points) ahead of anyone this season

Still think these will make the play offs, league is the weakest it's been in years IMO
  18. How does Welbeck still get a start for a decent Premier league side man, he's shite
  19. Be at least 3 nil Liverpool, Fulham haven't done anything in the summer and will be useless. Norwich/Wigan on sky could be a mate competitive game/better watch

It's an overrated league, we saw this when we were there, the only reason people bang on about it being such a good league is because so many teams are evenly matched so it ends up being close aside from 1 maybe 2 teams pulling away, other than that they're evenly matched because there's a load of average shite. We weren't very good both of our times down there, especially under Rafa, nothing special whatsoever but ended up going up comfortably, this season I think the quality is at an all time low as even the teams coming down aren't great, I think Burnley will walk the league and from there it's literally anybody, it just takes a good run, the fact Forest managed to nearly get automatic promotion last season despite being bottom in October says everything you need to know.

As much as we hate them, I think people are underestimating what momentum, a couple of good signings and a decent atmosphere can do in this league. Unfortunately think they'll do well this season and will at least make the play offs
  22. Would be ideal that and a good idea I think. I feel almost guilty at the minute having my season ticket, as I don't live in the area I won't get to every game, with some events I've got going on this year and next I reckon I'll probably get to just over 50% of home games, but I've renewed so that I can still have my seat, can hopefully get to some away games and be able to get a Wembley ticket if we get there, in regards to what I get for my money its not worth it on the surface but I couldn't face not having one. I dunno, probably won't make me very popular with those who couldn't get one and would go every week but it's one of those, I see it, with not living in the area I don't know any other fans I could lend it to either so its not ideal
  23. No chance any away tickets are going to members sale either so bit harsh peddling that as one of the "benefits"
  24. Club shop website is awful, trying to buy the 3rd shirt, for one its ridiculously slow, and then when I pick the shirt and choose the size medium it just keeps adding it to the bag as a small and no way of changing it, unreal
