  1. Not sure Zamora actually knew then that it actually was disallowed and the score was nil nil.
  2. Fucking helicopter above the stadium again
  3. What’s the point of Liverpool away games being moved to a neutral venue? Surely the point is to stop their fans going to the ground so what’s the difference to their game with us happening in Newcastle or Sheffield for example? Really strange that
  4. Back on the 17th June apparently for Villa v Sheff Utd and Man City v Arsenal to play the games in hand, full schedule then at the weekend. Just under 3 weeks to wait!
  5. Love the idea that Staveley is calling round all the ex-players to let them know of the takeover before it’s officially announced like; obviously how takeovers work, delay must be because Kuqi has lost his phone
  6. It’s weird and it’s needless as well. They can’t have fans fair enough, but they don’t have to dilute everything else about it and ruin it. They’ve all been tested and all been tested negative. So there’s no need for masks, no need for the subs sitting 2 meters apart, Christy they can shag each other if they want they know they’re not infected. No goal celebrations, no handshakes, managers got a mask on, it’s a joke this
  7. Why are they wearing masks when they’ve all tested negative? This makes no sense
  8. Did they just say goal celebrations aren’t allowed with each other? Hugging and stuff? Why would that be a problem if they’ve all been tested last night and tested negative, as has been confirmed? The players are the people who should be able to feel the most secure anywhere as they’ve had a test and know they’re not infected so can do what they want with each other surely
  9. I’ve been listening to back episodes of ‘That Peter Crouch Podcast’ and Rafa comes up a few time’s when they’re talking about various bits from when Crouch was at Liverpool, you can tell Crouch isn’t really a fan but the other two set him right. Anyway, Crouch tellls a couple of stories that used to frustrate me with Rafa here but still shows the detail he goes onto, he said in relation to tactics it didn’t matter if it was Man Utd at Anfield or Watford, he was meticulous with his planning and tactics set up,basis even when they played a team bottom of the league he’d focus so much on it and plan how they need to set up and play and it was frustrating to the players but he just loved to plan everything. Remember we were that way In the Championship where we’d set up ‘defensive’ and organised even at home to the likes of Burton but that’s Rafa. When the players used to share a hotel room also Rafa used to pair them up with who they’d be playing with, so the two centre backs would be together, two central mids and your strikers all in separate rooms, Crouch couldn’t get his round it but Rafa assumes and hoped they would spend all the night in there talking about the game so they’d be more in tune the next day, they didn’t but That’s exactly what Rafa would do so he assumed they would, he’s obsessed with football. Crouch didn’t follow Rafa instructions for a few games and he started scoring goals, Rafa had a word and said why aren’t you doing what I tell you, Crouch thought it was fine as he was scoring goals but then Rafa dropped him for the next few games. Ballsy that. There’s a funny bit as well where Crouch complains that Rafa for some reason played him on the left, said it was an awful decision and he played terrible...then goes on to say they won the game though and he scored 2 goals! Host says wel it worked then and you scored and won so Rafa was right, felt like a lightbulb moment for him to recognise the genius. Really interesting tidbits that keep popping up on him like, obsessed with football.
  10. I mean I imagine he will for a bit. It’s very rare with any takeover that the manager is just sacked straight away. Ashley kept Allardyce for a bit, City had Mark Hughes, Chelsea with Ranieri, it’ll be one of those where we all know he’s going to be sacked but it’ll be dragged out initially and he’ll get another season out of it before being let go
  11. Need to pack it in with this “Sunderland get battered song” it’s fucking embarrassing, especially now they’re on a good run and haven’t “been battered” for a long time, away support is full of fucking numpties these days, it’s awkward and embarrassing being round most of them
  12. Leeds will be lucky to make the play offs at this rate, unbelievable how bad they’ve been, desperately need a proper striker
  13. How do you watch it on bet365? I’m signed up but no option, do you have to bet?

    Sunderland

Be 1 point off the play offs when they win today, Lincoln are woeful away, never understood why everyone was writing them off weeks ago, you knew they would come good eventually, they’re shite but the team is as good as any in League 1, they’ll go up this season

    Sunderland

4 points off the play offs with games in hand now - it’s happening
  16. Game is showing as sold out even with all the empty seats, would suggest people have taken the free tickets but then not showing up which is positive as will still create the visual
  17. He’s said he’s glad to be home - he was only there for what 7 months?
  18. The thick line they show is the VAR line, the dots and all that shit are put in by Sky and Bt or whoever, I can’t stand Liverpool but he is just offside like, same as Lallanas was never a handball, annoying but they got it right

    Sunderland

Only 5 points off the play offs with games in hand as it stands - I know they’ve been shit but I’ve said before the league is shit and all it takes is a couple of wins and they’re right back in the mix, even 2nd isn’t out of the reckoning, everyone seems to beat each other, these will be in the play offs at least within the next couple months

    Sunderland

Unbelievably they’re still only 4 points off the play offs with a game in hand so they’ll more than likely still manage to turn it round and get into them, crazy league to have been that shit but still so close
  21. It’s beautiful and heartbreaking seeing him on here tonight. Since he went in the summer I’ve switched off from us, 25 years of support, 12 as a season ticket holder, reduced to simply checking the full time score every weekend, but seeing him again just takes me back to the hope we all had the last 3 years, that 5-1 against Tottenham, Fulham away with 7000 of us in that away end, beating Brighton 2-1 away, winning the title on the last day, beating Man Utd, signing Almiron and beating Man City and then it seeming like the club was about to be sold in the summer, so many amazing memories with him, above all, even when we got beat there was hope, we had a manager that believed in the potential of the city, whilst Rafa was here there was always that feeling that everything would be ok, we were able to dream, able to believe. Then he left. Despite everything I’ve said above it was inevitable it would end in heartbreak, I’ve not recovered from it, we’re doing really well at the minute table wise but I just can’t feel anything, we know now that Ashley wouldn’t commit to Benitez, Rafa said it himself just a few minutes ago, my biggest fault was having ambition, that says it all. We’ll be out the cup by February, we’ll finish mid table and the next season it could be about pushing on but we know Ashley isn’t bothered, we know Bruce is just happy to be there. There’s no hope that we can progress. It might have been stupid, but having Rafa as manager always had me believing there was a chance, no matter how small, that we could be everything we could and ever wanted to be, with him gone we know we’re not. Seeing him tonight and hearing how he still talks about us is upsetting as fuck.
  22. They're f***ed Crikey, didn't know their fixtures were THAT bad Poor b******s having to play until near midnight as well in a couple of those games
  23. How the fuck has this happened? Man Utd will obviously win this now, can’t actually believe how this has turned
  24. Sheffield Utd need another here like, dominating them but you know Man Utd will make chances at some point
  25. Game over already, be 3 nil within the next ten minutes
