Been hoping that Aarons was given a try yesterday after Perez gassed early against City. He'll take the fullbacks on just as Townsend does on the opposite wing. He wouldn't do any worse than Perez at tracking back imo. Perez is the Solskjaer kind of sub. He'll do more damage when defenders tire and game is wide open. But he won't do that from the start. Who plays RB for Palace?

We need to be ahead of the mackems by the time they play their last game in hand against Everton. I'm confident we'll grind out positive results in our next 2 games. It's the mackems' games in hand thats doing my head in right now.

Lose and it might go down to the final game for them and Spurs. They've got Man Utd away after Swansea so its vital they win tomorrow. Watford have to play both mackems and Norwich and if they get to the final, that would probably 3 points in the bag for our rivals. If Watford get to the final then surely the players will be playing to get into the first team for the final? Or all their better players will be rested, fringe players playing and up against a mackem side fighting for their lives on the last day of the season, a week before Cup final day.

Just looked at Palace in the table and it's a shame that we could draw level with them by the end of things yet our pathetic GD is our ultimate undoing with them.

I would like to see Aarons in for Perez. Perez can't last the full 90. He would be better running in behind defenders late on. Aarons vs Clyne would be better. And Mitro up front. Liverpool's cntral defence aren't very physical and wouldn't like Mitro roughing them up. Cisse would be easy meat for them.

They need 9points from their 4 games left. Less points if Spurs slip up.

Wow. That is pretty much achievable. Ofcourse it needs the other results to go like that but for us, this Saturday's game would go a long way to see how we will go into the final 3 games

For me, it now depends on the mackems slipping up. Have a feeling they'll rough up Arsenal and atleast get a point. The Watford and Everton games are wins for them if those two don't turn up. We really need to be atleast level on points with them by 5pm Saturday.
