And Mitrović. Who are you playing? 1 or 2 games? Didn't think he was going away as .com didn't list him being called up.
-
Think the derby came too quick for his managerial reign here. The fans were up for it, players were nervy, relegation dogfight. But still he managed to salvage something. Love the guy. Dread to think we only have 8 games more under him.
-
I'm unconvinced he should play from the start. He strikes me as a player who would be better coming on as a sub to give us a different dimension when legs begin to tire and whatever imagination we have is exhausted. But willing to give him the chance to start behind Mitro and Cisse against Norwich.
-
He has got the dribbling ability but problem is he can get knocked off the ball easily and sometimes in dangerous areas.
-
Even an u-12 kid can cross better than Janmaat. Don't these fuckers practice them in training?
-
He's learning. He's a kid but he learns and doesn't stop. Take this example. This is a guy who was booked inside 30 secs on his home debut, booked within 2 minutes in his next match and sent off in 15 minutes of his first full start at home. The same guy yesterday was booked in a full blooded derby only because he took off his shirt when he scored the equaliser. And had he not learnt from his past, he would have chased Martin Atkinson off the field after being adjudge to have made a foul, he would probably shoved his manager and team doctor when being told he was not well or simply, he could have done something stupid out of frustration in the game and got himself sent off. He's learning and he will get better. Cut the kid some slack.

He needs to play but only if Mitro plays alongside him or he'll just waste time getting offside all the time. Mitro can play the knockdowns and layoff for him and hopefully he puts it in. He's our 'Defoe'.

Norwich won for the 1st time in 11 games on Saturday. Not saying they are easy meat but doesn't make them superior to us. Though them being at home and us being shit away from home, it's easy to see they are clear favourites. Whether we can do a Leicester or not, I really don't have any confidence we have it in us.
-
He's the most direct attack minded player we have. No passing to the back, no sideways passing like the others. Need him on the left to swing the crosses in though.
-
To think that Norwich could be 6 points ahead of us already makes me depressed. Think it's a big possibility it will happen. All they need to do is turn up, play decently, and they'll win against our gutless pile. Just can't see us performing better after today. Need to play like we did against WBA. We need the others to consistently drop points though I see the mackems going on another of their houdini runs again
-
He has got almost the whole squad to work with apart from Janmaat, Gini and Sissoko during the international break. Hope he could also get some players back from injury too.
-
In hindsight, maybe the derby wasn't the right game to get things started. We ended the Leicester game on a positive vibe yet the jitters and nervousness and all that comes with a derby probably stopped that positivity from continuing. Win against Norwich and it'll go and give us the momentum. Was a 7 before the match. Up to 7.5 now.

A weak manager would have taken Perez and Mitrovic off and put Cisse and De Jong on for them. But Rafa kept all his attacking players on bar Townsend and kept faith in them. It paid off. Think he'll get rid of Sissoko on the left. Think he was only there to protect Colback. If we have one of our LB back, then Townsend would be there again. Sissoko can't go on one of his driving runs with his right foot playing on the left.

Think that celebration is on par if not better than the Ketsbaia one. The lad was up for it the whole game. Pumped up the crowd when we had that free kick in the first half too.
-
You see what happens when we actually get good crosses into the box?
-
Reply #5258 to #5268, you can all do one.
-
Why the fuck have we just been passing backwards? Mbemba should stop passing the ball out of defence. We should fucking stop relying on Shelvey to do his Hollywood passes all the time.
-
Hope the lad can do a Shearer-esque performance today. Score and assist to shut up these pundits going on and on about Defoe.
-
Got my money on him scoring today. Hope he knacks Clattermole in the process too!
-
Got as much sleep as I could get but was very little. Bricking it already. Can't fathom a defeat. Lose and relegation it is.
-
Said it before, we should have got rid of McClaren during that 18 day break that we had. Would have given a chance for the Stoke and Bournemouth game. Now we can't really have any slip ups and also need a surprise win or two from somewhere.
-
So fucking contrasting what nike and adidas have come up with this time. Both England's kits are vomit inducing stuff.
-
Said it before, the derby is just a starting point. If we win, we really can't drop points after that to give them a chance of catching. The home games are must wins. mackems, Swansea, Palace and Villa away. If we could sneak a win against Norwich, a draw or even a win against nothing to play for City, uhen there's a good chance of staying up.

Thing is, they always seem to pull off a result when it's tough. 3-0 win away at Chelsea a few years back is one fine example.
