New season, new managers, new ratings: Tier 1: Pep / Emery / Arteta / Howe Tier 2: Ange / Iraola / ETH / Slot Tier 3: Silva / Glasner / Frank / Lopetegui Tier 4: Hürzeler / McKenna / Dyche / O’Neil Tier 5: Nuno / Martin / Maresca / Cooper Made myself a rule where I had to have 4 at each tier. Pep is really in a tier of his own really.

How much money do we think Stack is going to be making us each matchday when you take away costs? £50k? £100k? There are a canny few people in that place 3 hours before kick off, and I imagine it'll be the same afterwards, god forbid we play a Saturday tea time game

I don't think Wednesday will be, based on performances since Danny Rohl came in, they'll be comfortably mid-table, even if this a really poor showing.

From next season.

Oh I didn't know that

Smallbone looks like a cross between Jonjo Shelvey and Aaron Mooy.

Each of them decision above and including our one today, is the fault of VAR, nothing else, it creates this grey bubble, that causes issues. If the Ref just made a decision on the field and there was no VAR you accept it, as refs can't see everything, and they're human, and can make mistakes, you might not agree with it, but you get over it, but when VAR was brought in to deal with issues, and you still get the same old faults week in week out, it becomes a joke, and a lot harder to sit with. Its why I want it scrapped, yes they'll still be controversy, but the game will run so much smoother, and the levels of injustice people feel will be less.

Just a reminder that Ashworth wanted to sell this colossus.
-
Nervy, but we defended really well, couldn't keep hold of the ball, so it was just back to the wall, they had the odd chance as they would do given the circumstances, but we fought and ground out the win. Even if it wasn't pretty in the slightest.

I love how absolutely rageful he was after the way they acted. Was an absolute unit and never getting beat.
-
Also, winning like that, where you feel massively aggrieved, is fucking class.
-
That wasn't pretty, far far from it, but that is such a big result in the circumstances, and the sort that will galvanize the squad given the situation we where in. The defensive solidity in the second half reminded me a lot of the some of the performances during the Champions League run. Warrior performance. Joelinton was an absolute joke, how we missed him last season, the ref was a joke too but for very different reasons. I hope we don't have a more stressful performance all season.

"One of the worst decisions ever made" If that isn't a WUM I don't know what is

Fucking seething with that ref performance. Diaz is a fucking prick too.
-
Bruno as captain over Burn is telling.
-
Not from what I saw, looked like just two tackles back to back, and the ref yellowing him for both.
-
Luton's goalkeeper just got sent off after getting a double yellow card, for two fouls within a second of each other.
-
This ref seems to be booking Ipswich for every foul, but Liverpool doing the equivalent and getting away with it.
-
That Liverpool kit is honking.
-
I actually agree you deserved the win, you created the better more clear cut chances. But, there is something about the way you play, that makes watching a Man United game eye gaugingly terrible.

My only thought is that I can't believe I was ever excited by this game

Hopefully that fetus at Brighton is up to speed next weekend.
