I remember listening to that and thinking "Fucking finally"

I do love it when Journalists start talking about swap deals, I swear in the Premier League, it literally never happens

Well, that was 90 minutes of pure boring tripe I'll never get back.

They have started to do that again in fairness, normally only Friendlies mind, there was the game at SJP last year, in the summer we have a friendly against Senegal at the City Ground.

As for England, I don't think we have learnt anything in these last two games, both of them have felt like qualifying games under Southgate with the same sort of performances.

The March international breaks need to be scrapped like (though I have no idea where you'd move it given how overcrowded the schedule is), 9/10 you just end up with turgid games like this, especially if it's a big nation vs a small nation, players for nations like England are just half arsing it as their mind is rightly focused on the run in for their clubs, and for Latvia this game is everything for their players, so they give it their all but don't have the quality, and the result is just pure dull.

This is awful. If this was a Southgate team, he'd be getting a load of stick

That's as perfect a free kick as you could ask tbh.

That's a one of them "If it's given I wouldn't overturn it, if it's not given I'm not giving it" calls.

Peter Drury has shone a new light on Sam Matterface, atleast I can tolerate Matterface

Don't think i'd ever step foot on a pitch again if I was that number 9

England XI: Pickford, Lewis-Skelly, Konsa, Guehi, James, Rogers, Rice, Bellingham, Bowen, Kane, Rashford

Tuchel picked a squad of 26, and for World Cup qualifiers you can only have a squad of 23. Morgan Gibbs White, Aaron Ramsdale and Jarrel Quansah missed out against Albania. This time its Gordon, Ramsdale and Tino missing out.

Thats a bit shit for him, would have thought he'd have been given a chance at least in one of these two games. Good for us mind, as it means he gets a decent period of rest, while still training.

Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli told coach Thiago Motta he was ‘ashamed at having chosen you’ for the job.

That's insane, fair play.

The 6-1 vs Spurs was just mental, the multiple shithouse wins vs Arsenal, the 2-0 against Man United this season, and an honorable mention to that Bruno goal vs Leicester in the last minute which all but confirmed survival.

This is obviously based from a Liverpool perspective, but found this an good watch:
