HMS Piss the League appears to be taking on water.
  2. Hell of a good start for Rob Edwards at Boro'.

This guy is a proper antidote for poor form, Plymouth had lost their first four games of the season, conceding 9 goals in the process, locals where getting restless, Bruce rocks up, and give them a clean sheet and 3 points. He's a gentleman really, always thinking of others
  4. Since 2010 West Ham have signed over 50 strikers, the only one that could be deemed a success is Antonio, so much utter dross
  5. Given how much money they've spent, that Chelsea back 5 still looks so average.
  6. £500k a week off the books is going to do wonders for our PSR situation.
  7. Luke Edwards asks a question, then goes to ask another before quickly saying "Actually I think i'm done". Eddie Howe: "Thank god for that"
  8. Interesting that Howe just mentioned he's not seen or spoken to Isak for over a week now.
  9. Some mixed results for the British and Irish clubs in the Europa and Conference League Play-offs: Hell of a result for Shamrock in the Conference League, they beat Santa Clara (who finished 5th in the Portuguese League last season) 2-1 away from home. Shelborne also beat Linfield 3-1 in a re-match if the Champions League qualifier from a few weeks back. Hibs look like they're heading out after losing 2-1 at home to Legia Warsaw. In the Europa League qualifiers, Aberdeen came from 2 down to draw 2-2 against 10 man FCSB at home. Lincoln Red Imps lost 4-0 at home to Braga, but they're garenteed an entry into the Conference League League stage, which is surely a win for a Gibraltar based team?
  10. So far, Fredrikstad don't seem like the mugs I was expecting.
  11. Celtic drawing at home to Kairat isn't exactly ideal, given they'll have travel 3500 miles for the away leg
  12. Gameweek 2 - deadline Friday 22nd August @ 20.00 West Ham 0 v 2 Chelsea Man City 2 v 1 Spurs Bournemouth 2 v 0 Wolves Brentford 1 v 1 Villa Burnley 1 v 3 Sunderland Arsenal 2 v 0 Leeds Palace 1 v 1 Forest Everton 2 v 0 Brighton Fulham 2 v 1 Man United Newcastle 1 v 1 Liverpool
  13. I was just about to post that. Its an good video, using the Isak situation to as a jumping off point to discuss why the transfer market is fucking shite. There is nothing particularly new in there, but its a good summation.
  14. From a Liverpool perspective, I genuinely can't think of a worse time to be playing us. Under the lights, on a bank holiday, everyone will be rightly tipsy, and with all the anger flying around at the moment. Awful conditions for them to enter the arena
  15. So guessing there was no tweet about our statement. How predictable, almost like he's trying to push his own agenda by reporting on only one side of the story

    Eddie Howe

Yeap, literally every question asked about Isak should get a response of. "The statement released by the club on Tuesday, covers our position on Alex, and the situation at hand. I'd ask you to please refer back to that".
  17. I don't have Twitter anymore as its a cespit. What did the guys say last night? Guessing it was full on gushing at Isak's statement, and barely a mention of the clubs?
  18. Who do we think actually wrote that statement btw? Given the nature, i'm assuming it has to have come from someone like Rueben, or it was written by a PR guy and had to signed off by Rueben?
  19. Quality statement that. Can't believe it's got to a situation where it's needed, but it's the perfect sentiment.
