  1. That vein of form against Sheffield, PSG is what he needs.
  2. Would've been one of the best goals in this fixture tbh
  3. Was that burn trying to knock it past the fullback
  4. OG's a bit on brand tbh given their bar signs
  5. Longstaff man. Same kind of chance against Sheffield and took that fine.
  6. Isak's properly marked like. Just three of them squeezing in every time he gets the ball.
  7. Love how we have enough local lads to put on these now when the last derbies were fronted by the likes of Sissoko who couldn't care less
  8. I back Eddie 100% but one thing that continues to frustrate is Burn at LB for starters.
  9. Still back him. Needs a scrappy derby win just to lift the place.

    Dan Burn

I hate how he almost walked back into the starting XI once he got fit.
  11. Hoping this is the kick up the arse the team needed. No longer a typical away loss - it's fucking Chris Wood scoring a hat trick against us at our own patch.
  12. He tried the Brentford away trick last season. 1-0 down and hammered then unleashed Isak and Wilson up front at half time. Unfortunately by the end of the game it was apparent we were still shaped like we always have been - 4-3-3.
  13. I really just want us not to play like we’ve written off this season after the European and cup exits. That’s all I ask.
  14. Ah man. In this part of the world, I woke up to the scoreline of us 1-0 up and PSG not winning, then I was dreaming. Bath time and the news on the Dortmund opener. Then before I left, I had a quick check on my phone. Milan won, and PSG failed to win. Broke me man. I couldn't leave for around 20 minutes as I just sat and stared at nothing. Never felt anything like it, not even relegation nor the cup final. It was a good run. Always have to remind myself where we were, and how lucky we are to be competing here much earlier than expected. And ultimately, a team I'm proud to support. HWTL.
  15. Ah man. I missed the game but I saw how it was even until the 79th minute or whatever it was. Seems like it was the f-word (fatigue), if not physically then mentally with how poor some of those goals were to concede. I appreciate how Eddie was dignified in defeat, looked genuinely gutted and you get the feeling he will somehow rewatch this game five times or something between now and the Spurs game.
  16. Yeah I was just thinking that I don't think he's exactly one who would walk back in this team even with the injuries. Lascelles has been brilliant.
