  1. De Gea - £18m Dalot - £19m Varane - £40m Martinez - £48m Shaw - £30m McTominay - free Fred - £47m Bruno - £48m Rashford - free Antony - £82m Weghorst - loan Total: £332m Pope - £10m Trippier - £12m Schar - £3m Botman - £32m Burn - £13m Guimaraes - £40m Joelinton - £40m Willock - £25m ASM - £16m Gordon - £45m Isak - £63m Total: £299m. Not a single academy player in your starting 11. Buying top four tbh.
  2. Could be no Casemiro, Eriksen or Sabitzer on Sunday. Varane and Rashford carrying knocks. Should be pretty comfortable for you in the end.

Maguire aside, this is laughably wrong.

Never bought the whole hiding from the ball thing myself to be honest. This is a 20 second clip. I could probably find one of Messi doing the same thing for 20 seconds.

He would probably start anyway even if Sabitzer was fit. Sabitzer being out would be the return of McFred.

Butt/Fletcher etc. had the luxury of playing with world class players beside them. Something to factor in when judging McTominay in that regard.
  7. I think it was a big debate in the chat section a few years back. You either love it or think it's loud nonsense.
  8. A lot of people don't like it.

Big chief has come in and written 20 essays about how good McTominay is and not ventured anywhere else on the forum. I love the hustle.

Bet you feel silly now after that performance. The price has now risen to £7m.
  11. Worth noting this is coming from Mike Keegan who's a mouthpiece for the Qatari's.
  12. It is, and contrary to what Stifler says the Qatari bid is the only one for full ownership. Ratcliffes bid is only for the Glazers 69%.
  13. It's quality. can only assume people haven't watched the documentary as you need to be dead inside to dislike anything about the situation once you know the full story.
  14. I thought they had actually started to get more reputable lately but obviously not.
  15. Pretty embarassing for Talksport. Common knowledge the deadline was extended yesterday afternoon. There are five bids, two public.
  16. I'm not denying that's how the rivalry came about, I'm just saying it doesn't disappear because the teams no longer compete. When you were in the championship I'd have still wanted to beat you more than the likes of Southampton or Hull who were in the Premier League at the time.
  17. A rivalry for me doesn't disappear because a teams ability goes up and down. Pretty sad to see that's how it is for some people, especially when some of the most iconic moments in Premier League history were a result of our rivalry. There was a period in the early 00's where it felt like it was a guaranteed 3 points against Newcastle, but it was always a game that we looked forward to and it had a different feel to it than a lot of league games.
  18. So by that logic it would be Arsenal and City you'd rather beat in this situation? It would be Liverpool for us. Even though we're better than them this season. Their fans would know it too. It's a scalp for us to beat City these days, but it would always be more satisfying to beat Liverpool.
