  1. So soft IMO, but we deserve to be ahead so I'll take it.
  2. The midfield balance looks off. Not close enough to each other when they have the ball. Can't really get any decent possession going further up the pitch. Man Utd are handling them quite easily so far. Been the case in a lot of our games this season where we dominate the play and come close to scoring then concede and fall to pieces. McTominay though. What a player. See, typical. Yeah, Spurs picked it up and forced you to defend for a decent period just then and you struggled with that it seems. No, our fucking defenders let a ball drop in the box instead of fucking heading it clear or attacking it. Exact same as against Bournemouth. Piss poor defending.

  5. The difference McTominay makes to us is absolutely staggering.
  6. Matic is fucking muck. I'd be playing Garner over him. Badly missing Pogba and McTominay though.
  7. He has Rashford in incredible form like to be fair, and our starting midfield is out injured, but we need to be beating Villa at home. No doubt about it.
  8. No I'm not definitely not happy the last couple of weeks. I don't mind dropping points against the top 6/7 teams as that's where we are at the minute but drawing at home to Villa isn't acceptable with the squad we have.
  9. Apparently Poch loses his £12m compensation if he takes another PL job this season. I'd imagine we would pay it.
  10. Some goal Grealish. Now is the first time I will admit if we lose a game like this and Poch has shown interest that Ole could be in trouble.
  11. Aye, strange one. Zabalete was a beast. Easily the best right back of this decade.
  12. You're right. I just have a way of talking that makes me sound like a twat too I think. Obviously get my back up too because I can't articulate my point right and then get torn apart for it. A lot of people do say about what the team is worth without realising that's a massive part of the problem. If we still had Lukaku and Sanchez playing that would be another £100m added on to the value but the fact is they didn't want to be at the club. Finally decisions are being made to get those sort of players out. That might result in bad results in the short term as Lukaku has undoubtedly been missed, but for the long term future of the club it is the right thing to do. I don't expect trophies and a title challenge, but I'd be disappointed if we aren't a lot closer next season. I want Solskjaer to get the time and another couple of windows to have what can be called his team. If it's this time next season and we're in the same position we are now then I'd be saying it's time to go obviously. And you're right about the youth. We're feeling positive about Greenwood, Tuanzebe, Williams etc. My only issue at the minute is his persistence with Pereira, who's playing terribly. Then again our two best CM's are injured and we don't have depth so his options are limited.
  13. Well it is progress because we're normally rubbish for 90 minutes. How many Man United fans do you know like? I've only seen one or two actually wanting Ole out. Usually clueless fans who just want change after change despite that clearly not being the cure. While I'm defending Ole and using Poch's recent form as a comparison, I still wouldn't be unhappy if we hired him FWIW. He's quite clearly a good coach, though people have to be realistic at the same time; his best achievement with Spurs is second place. He won no trophies in 5 years.
  14. I think he'll leave pretty much as soon as he wins the CL as well. Will have his pick of most if not all club jobs. Juventus likely.
  15. But that is where we are as a club, so I don't understand why people are treating us like we are title contenders that will brush everyone aside. We're a club likely to finish in 5th or 6th place. That was the realistic expectation. We are and have been absolutely miles behind City and now Liverpool for the best part of 5 years. That's through Moyes, Van Gaal and Jose Mourinho. There's a bit of hope now because of the recruitment in the Summer and some deadwood finally starting to be shifted out.
  16. Home or away against them is difficult. They're 6th like. Have only once since September and it was against Liverpool.
  17. Better than poch. Has done better with a worse squad, as some would have you believe. No he hasn't I know. I mean, he quite literally has done better since he took over. That's the absolute facts. Where is Poch now? Good point yesterday. Sheff United have been excellent this year. Were by far the best team against Liverpool, drew with Spurs and Chelsea. Beat Arsenal and Everton. Knew it would be tough especially with our starting midfield out injured but still dominated possession and unlucky in the end not to win. Turning around a 0-2 away from home is a positive sign that wasn't previously happening and we're still nowhere near full strength. You're absolutely deluded. What did I say here that is deluded? Since Ole took over he did better than Poch in the league. That is fact. A point away to Sheffield United is a good result for anybody, never mind us. That is fact, as evidence by their results against the rest of the league. 61% of the ball. Completed a come back from 2-0 down and we were within 90 seconds of winning the game. That's with a midfield of Pereira and Fred. Different story with McTominay and Pogba. A lot of positives. The only people who are deluded are people like yourself who look at the club like it's the Manchester United of the 90's and early 00's. That is not where the club is and isn't where the club is going to be for quite a while. You've hit the nail on the head. If Mourinho hadn't already come in and failed then people would be calling for him to take over from Ole. We've that route. There isn't even a sense of being overly positive, it's all about building a foundation from which Ole, or more likely someone new can eventually challenge with.. The main thing is the recruitment continues to be good. Still a few players to ship out, and more to bring in. In regards to the Ferguson-Woodward thing, I think it's all assumptions that it was actually a spat. Just a poorly timed photo.
  18. I would guess within the next two years but there's no reasoning behind the guess.
  19. I could have seen that as well but the way Pep has talked about him in the past suggests he might be the next City manager.
  20. Moyes isn't going to go back to Everton for a 6 month stint like. It's probably the only place where he has any sort of reputation left.
  21. What isn't true? Would love to hear it.
