He signed him while he had multiple rape accusations against him and even made him captain for one game And he was acquitted as well don't forget.

Ahh, MikeLUHG. If only you boys knew who you were quoting. He only has hatred in his veins.
-
Yup, lost more than last season already. Pretty much as many goals conceded n all. It isn't Lampards team to be fair to him. He couldn't sign any players. Lost Hazard too.
-
They're also the European and World Champions.

Spurs win Love when it when a plan comes together. Villa getting robbed at death? Lovely. Horrendous mistake in defence.
-
City apparently banned from CL for two years.

Awesome signing. Not the worst set of wide forwards to have in him, Willian, Pulisic, Hudson-Odoi. Assume Pedro is not getting his contract renewed. Pretty sure Willian is out of contract soon enough n all. Reckon Ziyech might flop badly though based on absolutely nowt. At that price it's barely even a gamble.

Bizarre. Why? Strong, fast and cheap option to replace Rashford for 6 months. Probably as good as we could have done Yup. It’s only bizarre if you keep thinking of manu as a big club these days. Spurs and Inter both failed with bids for him so really I suppose it depends on your definition of a big club.

32 wins and a draw in their last 33 league games too. The highlight of our season so far.

No, people are noticing he's good now. It's going to haunt me that he took that free over Mata though.
-
It just showed their chances. Nonexistent bar the Aguero header. Serious pressure though. Only a matter of time but Maguire having a stormer so far tonight.
-
No Its because when they played Man City in the cup, OGS said something along the lines of "Man City playing their strongest team shows how far we've come" and is a play on that What he actually said is probably worse.

I don't buy that one at all like. But Soyuncu is class.
-
It was £80m and we were in absolute dire need of a CB. Definitely overpriced mind. The annoying is that Soyuncu is just as good.

I don't lay any blame with Sir Alex. His time under the Glazers would have been a lot more manageable with Gill as the CEO instead of Woodward. Gill sanctioned the deals Fergie wanted and didn't penny pinch. I do think the Glazers were clever at the same and knew not to start pulling tons of money out of the club until Fergie was gone.
-
I'm not even convinced that shite is true. Woodward hired Neil Ashton (The Sun wanker) as a PR guy. Presumably to start spinning shite to make him look better. Wouldn't be surprised if he's the source all of that. It was a complete joke. They took out loans and saddled the club with £650m of debt. We pay ludicrous loan payments year after year while the Glazers pull money out of the club. £1b into their own pockets so far since they've taken over. They will never sell. We're too profitable.

You lot will be moaning again in summer when you only spend £150m £65m net spend, with no replacements for Herrera and Lukaku. Aw man, at least show a little bit of fight. He's a very important signing in all seriousness. We've desperately needed someone who can shoot from midfield. All defences need to do is sit back against us and hope that Messi Lingard doesn't bang one in from 30 yards. Fernandes should hopefully bring defences forward with his long range ability which will free a bit of space in behind for our forwards to hopefully do something... anything. Please.
-
€55m up front. €5m in appearance based clauses. €5m if we qualify for the CL. €7.5m if we win the CL. €7.5m if he wins the Ballon d'Or. €60m isn't bad.

The Saudi's tend to like their football. I don't think a Saudi takeover is as bad as people are making out. As long as their medieval laws stay in their country there's no reason not to enjoy the ownership. Your club will 100% be better under Saudis than Ashley.
-
You were saying we should be paying £50m for this guy.
-
Sorry missed this. At this stage it's a bit of both. Definitely happy that youngsters were going to get chances, but the frustration now is that we've lost 3 of our best players in McTominay, Pogba and Rashford and the board are not paying an extra £7/8m to secure Fernandes, who wants to come to our club. We are being forced to play Pereira in midfield yet the board won't sanction a move for a midfielder who scored 30+ goals last year. Give me a break. Greenwood has basically scored in every game he has started yet is still finding himself on the bench even though Rashford is injured. At least Williams is getting games. He's so much better than Shaw it's unreal. Gomes is a better option than Pereira yet he's not even getting a sniff. Chong is shite.
-
Finally haha. But yeah this is very very bad I still defend him as the board just won't get the players in but Martial was dreadful against Liverpool and Greenwood should have been on from the start. His persistence with Pereira as well is baffling. Greenwood was the only option from the bench last night. The squad is so shite and we're bidding £30m on a 16 year old rather than coughing up for a goalscoring midfielder. Can fully see Woodward going out and giving Cavani £400k a week to help. It'll show he's learned absolutely nothing. Martial was even worse last night IMO. 100%. He was fluffing shots from 10 yards out. Probably the worst performance I've seen from him. No desire at all. Most of us were in agreement that Greenwood should have started up front. Sick of Pereira getting games too. Dan James just isn't ready for this level. He started really well but he hasn't scored since the end of August I believe and he's been relied upon because we have no depth. We're in desperate need of another winger.
