  1. He's a good player. Very disappointed with the fee for him. An £8m player by himself easily IMO.
  2. IMO Shaw is a must. Looks good in preseason. Once he's fully fit he'll be flying again and he's extremely active in the final third and will be feeding it to Martial or crossing for Ibrahimovic. Should be good for assists and in a Mourinho side you'd think he'll get plenty of clean sheets.
  3. Valencia, Bailly, Blind, Shaw until Smalling is fit, then replace Blind with Smalling.
  4. Mkhitaryan not a starter? Not yet. Lingard played great last season, has been great in preseason and scored a good solo goal in the Shield. He'll start IMO. Not trying to fuck with us? Mkhitaryan was the first player on my team, and the only one still on it from revision 00. No honestly. Lingard has been one of our best players over the past 9 or so months. He had a good game in the CS and scored a great solo goal. Could be wrong, but I would be surprised if Mkhitaryan starts over him. The team I put up above is what I believe it will be. If there's a change, I'd expect it to be Pogba due to fitness.
  5. I've gone £100 on Leicester.

  7. Think Pogba will come straight in? That's the biggest if in regards to the line up since he has been on holiday for so long. If he's fit he starts though obviously.
  8. Carrick Pogba Lingard Rooney Martial I'd be surprised if we didn't start like this.
  9. Williams for £12m is a great buy like.
  10. Hull 0-2 Leicester Burnley 2-1 Swansea Crystal Palace 1-0 West Brom Everton 2-2 Spurs Middlesbrough 1-1 Stoke Southampton 2-0 Watford Man City 3-0 Sunderland Bournemouth 0-2 Man Utd Arsenal 1-1 Liverpool Chelsea 2-1 West Ham Newcastle 2-0 Huddersfield
  11. It can come into it for City like. They've already been fined by UEFA IIRC. which as a punishment for spending too much money seems a bit daft And they had their CL squad size reduced, and their spending limited to £49m last season or the season before.

  13. Wishing the best of luck to @NUFC tonight in their first game of the #EFL season. I hope they have a swift return to the Premier League. JK
  14. Her specialist subject on Celebrity Mastermind was the history of the club too. What a woman.
  15. Signed for £1.5m. Immediately worth at least £5m due to Chelsea performance. Become a regular international player for France due to good performances, add on £5-10m for that. New TV deal adds silly money into the market, add on £5-10m for that. Has a good Euros tournament, add on £5-10m for that. He's still only 26 as well which could arguably raise his value. Valuation: £25-40m.
  16. From a neutral perspective and taking into consideration the state of the transfer market today Sissoko is worth £30-40m. Tubes might have had a point with a £20m valuation before the Euros, but he had a good tournament. It's a minimum of £30m.
  17. £30 to Real Madrid. Nailed on.
  18. Well it's true like. If you really want to nitpick you can go back 100 years when John Davies basically provided us with enough cash to get out of debt and financed Old Trafford which has been a significant source of our revenue for many years, but it is not the same as City/Chelsea. That's my opinion anyway and I answered that quite seriously. It is impossible to separate Manchester United's premier league success from their wealth relative to the rest of the league. If City/Chelsea hadn't have come along it would have only gotten worse. Pretty much the only way to be consistently successful. Honestly I don't mind the amount of money in football. It's promoting the competition and the so called smaller clubs are becoming stronger as a result. Like look at Stokes forward line last season. You'd have never expected to see the likes of Shaqiri lining up for Stoke ten years ago. Reckon this season will be really competitive like. I reckon it's City/Chelsea/Man United in the top three positions. Place them how you like. As a big fan of Conte and Kante I'd say Chelsea are my pick right now.
  19. Well no because our money and global brand was earned. A fella from Abu Dhabi didn't come in with billions of pounds and transform us overnight. How is that relevant to the criticism of buying the league though? regardless of whether it's earned or not you are still doing the same thing ( arguably at a higher level tbh ) how you get to that point is completely irrelevant. I personally find the whole " buying " the league to be a bit stupid considering everyone spends at least 50m these days, but you can't criticize one team for how they get there and act like how you did it is fine. To be fair I don't really care about the other clubs spending and picked up the question wrong. I was more defending the fact that we are spending a lot of money.

  22. Pogba arrived in Manchester now. Medical expected to take a few days but he should be registered and ready for Bournemouth. No more Fellaini.
