City basically got the tie won and may rest players for a 4th place decider this weekend. Could see a draw, so left it out.

Have Atletico, Oxford and Brighton double chance.

+1 west ham 11/10.

Carrick and Fellaini starting in midfield when Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger are on the bench. Fuck this.

Odd bet this.

Predicted 3-0 before. 2-1 now. -
Where did you find the market for the second bet? I fancy that.

If you get Benitez and then get relegated and he leaves the Sunderland fans would have a field day. This is going to be an exciting run in for the neutral.
-
Ayestaran must have taken Benitez out on the piss after the game last night and they just drank right through to this morning. He's going to sober up eventually.

McGregor is the UFC Featherweight champion. Fair shout on us though. We are dire. We're still in the tie though. Should be well gone.
-
Liverpool are better than us now anyway, with a far better manager. I still cry when I see Klopp on their touchline. We have crazy money but it can be wasted as we've shown. The next two years are crucial in terms of who we buy and who we appoint.
-
I am aware of the situation now, but I highly doubt we'll be going 20+ years without another title. Very possible of course, but highly unlikely. The thing is, nobody is particularly good in England. It isn't going to take a whole lot to get back to the top IMO. Leicester are about to win the league.

Scholes talking about the "United way" being competing with Bayern, Real, Barca - when they're haven't for a fair fucking while - is the Liverpool way to a tee. It hasn't even been 3 years since Fergie left. Relax yourself. Give it time. You know we're not going down the Liverpool route.
-
Our fans are a disgrace tonight. Not one song about the team and everything about Liverpool, Hillsborough or Heysel. I'm ashamed. Full credit to Liverpool for not dropping to that level and singing about Munich. Should be about 5-0 Liverpool. Worthless garbage without De Gea. Everything about us pissing me off tonight. Disgrace.

Joe Kinnear and Chris Houghton like. Just stating facts.

Only in a strictly geographical sense. Not even that. Ireland is not in Britain. Hughton was born in England but identifies as Irish. He knows the craic. Joe Kinnear was born in Dublin and represented Ireland so no idea where Hans is going with that one. Pretty sure they both hold British citizenship like. Pretty sure they both hold Irish citizenship like.

Is that the criteria these days?

He's about as Irish as my left testicle. His ma is Irish and his da is Ghanaian. He's as English as my right testicle.

Loads of teams have only just been able to say that. They had the best manager of all time for almost three decades. Had the best manager of all time for about 13 years, unless you think he was the GOAT as soon as he took over. 1972 is the last time we could realistically make such a claim when Frank O' Farrell was at Old Trafford and Joe Harvey was at SJP. Only Irish manager in our history. Typical.

Depends on how you look at it. The football is better but instead of being two points behind Barca they're twelve now.
-
In fairness, it's not really the same. He does deserve respect for it but that CL success came a long time ago and he's had mixed results since then. Not like he's come off winning a league title like Mourinho ( i know they were shite this year but they won the league the year before) or Guardiola have. If he had i doubt he'd be taking this job on, still shocked that he is mind. While I can see where you're coming from, I don't think his quality was ever in doubt though. With the exception of Inter (who were fucking shite when he took over), he has a great win percentage at each club. He was sacked when he was 2 points behind Barca at Madrid. He came third and won the Europa League with Chelsea despite shitty abuse from the shittiest fans in the country. At Napoli he won the Coppa Italia and qualified for the CL. I hated him at Liverpool like. Rivarly and all that.
