Yeah it's not fun playing a prime Milan side. Not fun at all.

Stam was definitely better than Rio when they were both at their peak but I'm just pointing to Rio as Stams replacement, and it was a very good replacement indeed, especially given the general level he has played at for us for over a decade.

£16m for a 29 year old CB in 2001. It wasn't as big a mistake as people made out IMO, especially since the money went towards Rio a year later. The mistake was signing Blanc as cover when we sold Stam.

I didn't even know Ronny Johnsen signed for you. Surprised to see Williamson green, especially with the amount of hate he receives on here.

Can get 5/1 on us to beat Madrid. While, I don't expect to win the game, I've never seen us that high. Going to be a nightmare trying to stop Ronaldo. I'd be delighted with a draw.

Barcelona beat Giggs in final? Real Madrid and Barcelona are the only two teams I can see beating us in Europe this year. So if we get past Madrid, sure, why not get another pasting of Barca in the final.

Man United fans would lap up Solskjaers winner in 99. Should be pretty easy too. If you could get the celebration as well that would be golden.

These would be awesome on a canvas. Similar to this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Scholes-Manchester-Framed-Canvas-Art/dp/B003J92I90 Thirty quid is reasonable I reckon.

For a rare non-cuntish soundbite claiming no mind games? Still a cunt. You're a cunt Wormy! Well, coming from such an unbiased, level-headed poster on such a matter, I suppose I can't refute. Nah, reported. He does always come out and look good in an interview shortly after being charged by the FA or being involved in a bust up of some sort. Mind games you see, not over-rated.

Rooney's volley against NUFC?

Methodical. Tim Howard is dummy. RVP did the exact same thing like 20 minutes earlier. You must be on the wind up are you? You've never stepped the tempo of the game up once. Perhaps it's because you haven't had to, but still, it's methodical. I don't expect you to be thinking with a balanced view considering you're a Man U fan and your team are winning right now. I've never claimed Man U were terrible, just very boring and methodical to watch. Sure you guys have won 20/21 games, and are 'strolling' to another league title, but that doesn't really change the way I feel whenever I watch your team play. It's all about workrate and team shape. I agree that a big part of our play is about workrate and team shape but our attacking play is fantastic and always has been. The movement of our players in the final third causes every team problems.

Boring and methodical through ball.

I actually enjoy them most of the time tbf. If it wasn't for Sir Alex and some of their twats I would hope they'd beat Real. Which games have been enjoyable? At least 20 in the league.

Basically a full strength side apart from Carrick.

Is it just me or is there a similarity? http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/7489/49782231.jpg

All of those apart from Pirlo are better players. Pick a player from Bayern instead and that's it.

I outscored Lawro last week. http://s9.postimage.org/5u990oahb/1360280554640.gif

I wonder how David is going to be when we play Real Madrid. 125 on Man Utd 333. 33 on Madrid DNB Do it.
-
Just a two year extension onto his current deal. 2018 now with a nice little signing on fee I'm sure.
-
100% agree. Maybe Rooney has an eye on Shearers record.

It's not even his goals that make him so important to us, that's what people are failing to see. The fact he scores so fucking many is just a testament to how brilliant he actually is. Well, I don't even rate him as a withdrawn creative striker, if that's what you're suggesting. He looks stuck between two mindsets, should he be playing in the pocket in front of the opposition defensive line (or back on the half way line?!) or leading the line. Honestly, without discrediting the rest of the team; see how fluid our attacks are, he is the one who orchestrates almost every one. He receives the ball, finds himself some space and then plays a key pass. If he plays the pass from his own box, he'll be in the final third ready to finish it. If he plays the ball and gives it away, he'll break his balls to win it back. He is our driving force. That's true about his pelanties which are rubbish. Inclined to slightly agree. I wouldn't call his penalties rubbish but he has a tendency to smack important ones over the bar. He's missed 9 of 28 for Man Utd, that's a shocking ratio. 10* He's no Le Tissier that's for sure.
