This Rooney in the team is looking pretty pointless at the moment. -
We don't need PEA we need a new manager and a new owner, anybody who thinks signing decent players is a good idea really doesn't get it. We need good players as if we,ever do get a good managers he's going to need some players to work with! I'm well aware we need a new owner and manager but we also need a team to stay in the division. I don't think we do and relegation might be the best thing that good happen to us. It might get rid of Pardew and it would mean the club would be a lot cheaper for someone to buy. You say that but we might not. He might just keep pardew and spend f*** all. It won't be like last time. Maybe, but for me it's a gamble worth taking, anything but the maintaining of the awful position we are in now, where the football on offer is putrid and our manager is the biggest cunt in football.

Silva chucked for another innocuous performance. -

I have to say it, I know I shouldn't, but I don't think Silva is really all that, never have. -

1pm, on the sofa, supping Guava Juice, played Tennis early this morning, and playing again after the Spanish game. Life of fucking O'Reilly really. -

Joining here a little late but why does Lovren have his hand on Fred, and in general why do defenders constantly put their hands all over players. It's not Rugby. Fred definitely lept to the ground like a dying swan but if Lovren hadn't touched him it would have been a yellow card for diving and no penalty. -

My only memories of the 2010 World Cup was that awful fucking noise at every match and De Jong's kung fu kick in the final. -

Anita might have been a good player at Ajax but he was a ridiculous signing that made no sense at the time and certainly none at all now. We didn't need to strengthen that position and Pardew is the antithesis of everything Ajax stand for. Vermont should get the fuck out of dodge pronto and try and save his career. Colback will 100 % line up in his place with Tiote come the start of the season.
-
What exactly has Anita done then? Scored goals, assists, long rang passing, no didn't think so. And we already have one defensive midfielder in Tiote, surely we don't need to play two together. Replace Tiote, that's not going to happen.
-
Who happens to also be unable to create or score goals just like our 2 incumbents. Unfortunately he would be joint second on league goals for us last season with 3 (minus Cabaye & Remy) he also outscored our only forward Cisse. How miserable is that. Wish i never checked. That's because Pardew is a s*** manager and refuses to pick any players capable of actually attacking the opposition. 3 goals is still more than 1 in 10 hardly pulling up trees. And Colback has only ever played in a relegation squad with 4 managers in the last year or something daft like that. He'll be decent for us, he'll want to prove a point. Its worth getting behind him just to p*ss the mackems off tbh, the club is gutted they've lost him to us, rightfully so. Small time mentality of get behind him to upset the mackems? No thanks we are much bigger than them so upsetting them shouldn't even enter our psyche. He's not got it in his game to pose any threat to opposition defences and he's not outstanding defensively either, he's a ho hum run of mill English central midfielder who has never been highly rated by anyone. He doesn't even have any caps for the under 21s lol Na, small time is crying because a player celebrates scoring a goal against us, and not being able to get over it. Small time is holding against where a manager or players comes from, like them with Bruce, Chopra, Graham etc etc... It never bothered me then, doesn't bother me now, i'll judge him where it matters, on the pitch. At least give him a chance to disappoint. Only thing that bothers me is he offers nothing we don't already posses and has only been signed on the basis that he's free The celebration only went to show his lack of respect for the club he claims to support. Why should he respect NUFC? I've supported Newcastle all my life, but do I respect the club, do I fuck, biggest bunch of wankers in football.
-
Well obviously it's not alright but most of our current players are pretty rank, some of them always were, others have been par dewed, most of them just don't care.
-
I'm sorry but Santon is an absolutely shit LB, I don't see how anybody can dispute it. The fact that he runs forward nicely before doing fuck all with the ball doesn't change that.
-
And this argument that he's an average player, well anybody whose been watching us for the last two seasons will see that he'll be at home then, because apart from Debuchy, Remy and HBA they are all pretty much average apart from the ones who are just really shit.
-
As long as he's been bought to play at Left Back allowing us to sell Santon, loan Dummett to some non league team in Wales where he belongs, and keep Haidara who does have some promise as back up, I don't see the problem.
-
Rumour has it Welbeck might be picked to man mark Pirlo.
-
I hope we don't sign anyone, and if we do who gives a fuck. As long as Pardew stays as manager it just makes no difference. I sincerely hope we get relegated, if that's what it takes to get him fired.
-
The problem with Fabregas is he's so slow.
-
Maybe he's been bought as our new LB in which case it all makes sense, as he can't be any worse then the three useless fuckers we already have that play there.
-
I don't think people are advocating that he should be sold, just that the jury is out on whether or not he has the ability to become a good premier league defender. Ability is the wrong word, that he has, but it's not enough to guarantee he will be a success. He looks like he is very much a confidence player, and playing in our defence with the lack of protection from midfield and an imbecile for a manager is not going to do him any favours. While Pardew stays as manager he should move on, as should any player with ability and ambition.
-
I think because MYM looks comfortable on the ball and possesses many of the qualities that traditionally CB's don't have, we are falling into the trap of actually thinking that he could be a could player for us. Santon also looks like he should be a good player, and yet defensively I don't think I've seen a worse full back in 40 years of watching Newcastle.
-
NUFC can try to offload MYM as much as they want, however he's under contract until 2018, presumably on far more money than he'll be offered in France unless PSG or Monaco want him, he can just choose to stay here if he wants.
