  1. He's going to cost him a lot more than that if he doesn't get rid soon
  2. Same. Couldn't believe what I was reading. Didn't realise there were so many idiots supporting this club. Be the same sheep thats kept Ashley here so long
  3. Yeah, how dare we expect to watch a game without falling asleep
  4. He'll have retired by the time we get sold
  5. Can't imagine any decent attacking player being happy playing Bruceball. Chasing the game for 90 minutes wouldn't appeal to many. Saint Maximum will be next guaranteed
  6. I don't care about a top half finish though. I want my football club back Yeah me too, but when Rafa was managing us I tolerated Ashley a lot more than I do now. If Ashley had of gave Rafa the money he gave Bruce for transfers we'd be in a lot better position now and Ashley would just be in the background. Ashley wouldn't give Rafa the money or tools needed, that's the point. No desire to compete or improve. Lets say we get rid of Bruce and get someone a bit better. Ashley will just hamstring them like he did with Rafa anyway. We will never consistently strive to improve under Ashley, so it's pointless talking as if we can. Yeah I get what you're saying and you're right. I'm just saying if Ashley had of hung onto Rafa maybe now we'd be happy where we are and Ashley would just be in the background and we would be seeing the club growing again. But yeah Ashley's the problem coz hw just keeps making stupid decisions. I can't watch another match whilst Bruce is in charge though so can't wait till they're both gone
  7. Exactly, the fans aren't even allowed at games so he'd be fecked if they were and vented their dismay

  9. You're right Ashley is the problem but any half decent manager would have us playing much better football with the squad Bruce has. We could be looking at a top half finish, so there's no excusing Bruce either
  10. The thing that makes it worse with Bruce though is the fact he was actually managed by one of the best managers the Premiership has ever seen (if not THE best) and he hasn't even learned anything from him. Absolute joke
  11. ;D That makes me feel better, he's really going to be pissed off now. For once I might end up on Ashley's side
  12. I'm washing my hands with that one
  13. What a joke of a club we've become. It's obvious Ashley's not putting another penny into this club so I hope everyone will return the compliment. He's running it like a non-league club so I hope that's what it becomes. I honestly think karma's eventually coming to the fat bastard
  14. What exactly did GC say, because the way you've worded your post suggests he's already leaked that there's something going on. Caulkin has said this week, since pulling out all parties reaffirmed their commitment to deal, however the next we should hear is whether deal is off or completed. So whether you believe the deal is likely or not, what is pretty clear is that they are still looking at ways to make this happen. I don’t think we’ll be receiving any running commentary this time, as if Saudis are still involved they won’t want to lose any face if this falls flat again. I would guess PCP are exploring the options open and if there’s a possible route to approval with discreet nods and winks given, the Saudis will come back on board. What has he had to say about his source telling him "no red flags", "done in the next few days", and other things that utterly failed to happen? Hi Sean, he's written about it in this (and a subsequent article) on the 30th July: https://theathletic.com/1963663/2020/07/30/newcastle-united-takeover-withdraw-staveley-ashley-pif-premier-league/ I'm sure you've read it in your detailed and unbiased quest for the truth, but to summarise, multiple sources from the consortium claimed: "The Premier League gave them “private assurances” before the deal was signed and again in mid-April that “approval would be forthcoming soon” before the mood music changed in June" Mr Masters then confirmed himself 2 weeks later that: "In June, the Premier League board made a clear determination as to which entities it believed would have control over the club following the proposed acquisition, in accordance with the Premier League rules" So only In June did they confirm which entities were to be included. Seems a long time after the tests started no? Either way, since the PL don't refer to any private assurances before or at the beginning of the process, you'll have to decide yourself whether to believe those multiple sources. Happy to help with your question The private assurances were given before the deal was signed? That tells us all we need to know. Try telling that to the Staveley hating dumb fuck! What a complete and utter bellend
  15. Had a few too many biccies at the post-match pressers and can't fit in to his trunks for Benidorm. Probably can't even fit in Benidorm?
  16. I think it's about the only thing I'm taking solace in over this whole farce tbh. He finally truly wants out and he just can't do it. I consider it karmic justice for the decade of fakeovers. Aye, I hope he's feeling it worse that us for taking the piss out us fans so long. Just wish this takeover had went on in the background so we didn't have to suffer every minute
  17. Top dogs in the North-East Marra!
