We’re the only team in the league where the players are blamed instead of the manager. It’s so weird. They had no trouble blaming Rafa, utter tossers the lot of them. It drives me mad when you could actually see what Rafa was trying to do and he got pelters for it, even though he had no choice when he had players like Joselu, and yet Steve fucking Bruce can't do no wrong. 90% of these pundits piss me off and TBH Shearer is one of them. Difference this time though is relegation isn't an option if Ashley wants to sell the club. Can't see the buyers hanging around for how long this takeover has already taken place plus having to wait another year to hopefully get promoted. So as long as the takeover is possible we need to avoid relegation as far as Ashley is concerned. He wouldn't be too bothered if there was no chance of a sale though

I don't care about a top half finish though. I want my football club back Yeah me too, but when Rafa was managing us I tolerated Ashley a lot more than I do now. If Ashley had of gave Rafa the money he gave Bruce for transfers we'd be in a lot better position now and Ashley would just be in the background. Ashley wouldn't give Rafa the money or tools needed, that's the point. No desire to compete or improve. Lets say we get rid of Bruce and get someone a bit better. Ashley will just hamstring them like he did with Rafa anyway. We will never consistently strive to improve under Ashley, so it's pointless talking as if we can.
