Matt Ritchie (now Technical Director at Bournemouth)

Can we not change the title to Twat Ritchie -
They've clearly spent weeks coming up with something that is vaguely believable when coupled with Ashley's "oim just a normal flawed bloke" routine. Not surprising if it's swallowed by those only keeping one eye on the situation, but utterly depressing that there are actual fans of the club that stlll haven't realised the only consistent behaviours with this bloke are deceit and self interest. Any excuse not to make a difficult decision. Agree. I'm so so far away from the train of thought of those people that I find myself wanting the club to burn tbh. People paying Ashley are paying to destroy the club, so they deserve to see it disintegrate before their very eyes. It's what they've paid for after all. Only dead fish follow the stream

Got a feeling they'll sell Longstaff on the last day of the transfer market to fund this. Gives Ashley enough time to sell a few extra season tickets

Pre-season 19-20: Newcastle 2-1 AS Saint-Étienne

Today I will mostly be supporting West Ham -
Because if you look at the list of teams he's managed, Newcastle United would be the biggest name on there. Noone else would be stupid enough to give him this opportunity - football managers are egotistical and want to be managing at the top level now. Yeah, I know what you mean but he'll probably go down as one of our worst managers ever rather than a chance to be a hero by Sheffield Wednesday. He only needs to get them promoted and he'll be managing in the premiership anyway, without the guaranteed pressure he'll be under here. So to me he's still making the wrong decision
-
Don't know what Bruce is doing tbh. I'd rather be managing a team that wants to be challenging for promotion rather than a team in the premiership gambling with relegation. He won't have many fans on his side, even though he thinks he's "one of us". Just doesn't make sense. The Sheff Wed fans are already turning on him so if this falls through he's lost most of their support aswell. What an idiot

Can we change the title from "fakeover" to fuckover cos once again Ashley has fucked us over
-
So your knob then
-
Me too, refuse to put another penny in fcb's pocket, but I'll always pop in here now and again for the craic
-
Exactly. That's our next 4 signings played for. Wages, agent fees everything. What's not to like

If this takeover happens I'll cheese grate my bollocks and dip them in salty vinegar

Sean Longstaff (now playing for Leeds United)
Bishops Finger replied to xLiaaamx's topic in Football
Probably one of the reasons I don't think Ashley is ready to sell the club yet is the fact theres still a bit money to be made on the likes of Longstaff, Perez, Almiron and Laccelles. Your looking at close the £100m for those lot and we all know what floats Ashley's boat -
How can you kill something that's been dead for years
-
And it would be just our luck that no other potential buyer would entertain the fat twat if he did

Yeah, and when we're pissed off we can turn it upside down

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan
Bishops Finger replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
If it's his money it's also his debt, so how come he can take out what he wants yet the club owe him £130m, what the club makes in profit should stay in the club and if it did then chances are we wouldn't have been relegated twice and then the 'club' wouldn't owe him any money. That's what Ashley does though isn't it, he has his cake and eats it, in front of the starving minions that's he's taken from, the man is a leach and won't be gone until there's nothing left to take -

Can't wait for the media to whip this up into a frenzy for the next 2/3 months, only for Ashley to call Kenyon a tyre kicker, and before you know it, the transfer window is closing Feels like I've been here before -

Could end up another frustrating summer if this shit kicks off again, Ashley always seems to want more than the club is worth and more than suitors are willing to pay, he needs to look at the club now as to what it's worth and not potentially what it's worth, cos potential costs a lot of money and time to recoup any profits. It's going to cost a lot of money to get this team challenging anywhere near the top ten, which is what Rafa wants. Can't see Rafa signing a new deal until he knows one way or the other what funds he has, he'll not fall for the same crap again guaranteed. -
He probably knows he'll be out injured for the rest of the season, so he'd rather be in the Midlands where he can get pissed up every night with his mates, me hopes

Excellent post. Totally agree.
