  1. Not sure you are fully understanding what I’m saying. The seats that are higher price will be deemed better seats so usually priced higher already. It’s not that the same seat has 3 different prices and you outbid each other. Im effectively asking someone before the ballet where do you want to sit. Those who just want to go whatever select all 3 price points. Others who can’t afford the best seats will choice the other price points. Some will rather miss than L7. Either way the club needs to fill the more expensive seats so it’s a simple way of those with the biggest pockets actually get allocated the more expensive seats whereas they aren’t filling the cheaper seats so effectively those on a smaller budget have a bit more chance as not being filled by someone who could’ve afford to pay more. Having the ability to offer flexibility on price will give you on paper more of a guarantee to get in but it will cost you. Whereas those not so lucky will hopefully each game have more cheap seats available as you’ll have people who’d if you can’t get Cat 1 or 2 tickets might prefer to watch in pub than Cat 3 L7 etc.
  2. None have managed to come up with a solution though. Just try and get tickets for a high demand gig. Most of the promoters are in on the re-sellers. It’s a rigged market. As far as I understand it it’s automated so there is no need for communication. For example 100 tickets on sale. 99 payments go through 1 fails. The 2nd ballot is just them picking whoever was 101 on the list for the 1 remaining seat and charging them 24hrs later. They don’t announce a new ballot for everyone to re-enter for that remaining ticket.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

It’s going to be interesting with us signing players of age that everyone is saying that’s that position sorted for the next ten year. Will the same people cope with one or no signings per window in the very near future
  4. 1. Can you expand further on this? Curious. 2. It’s madness but I’m guessing it’s their way of fitting in all the matched groups together to avoid too many single seats. Needs to be rethought. 3. Good question and I’d imagine more issues with new but depends on who actually complain out loud or actually let the club know. 4. Crazy and should be the easiest to fix. 5. I’ve seen one floating around but yeah I’m not sure it corresponds with the new categories. 6. Agree. My idea was to have 3 prices (£75/£50/£30) and you can select to be in the hat for all 3, top 2, bottom 2 or a specific 1. So ultimately if prepared to pay the most/anything you have 3 times the chance of getting one. The more restricted your budget the slightly less chance of getting one. 7. See my discussion. No easy answers without draconian measures faced to actual NUFC fans.
  5. You had to come up with a solution without suspending memberships as what you are saying is basically what I’m saying that they should’ve been stopped before the season starts. With the policy of the club selling memberships throughout the full season how do you stop away fans buying them is the question that a solution is required. I don’t see one.
  6. They can’t do that though as the way demand is it could be your very first game you’ve been successfully picked.

Oasis… How many defenders will we rearrange? How many lives has Eddie changed? Where were you while we were getting by? Livramento and Lewis Hall Faster than a cannonball Where were you while we were getting by? Very early draft

TalkSport have picked it up on their news segment not just sports segment so has paid off to maximise attention.
  9. I’ve probably said it before but at least these days you can watch every match in full if you want to and there is always at least a chance of getting a ticket each game so there is at least some comfort. Going back to the clubs first rebirth under KK it was a lock out for years and you had to make do with 5-10mins of MOTD highlights for the majority of matches.

Brilliant ?? What time did you manage to snare it?
  11. When you are happy with the numbers just let me know and I’ll book a table for everyone for say 19:45 to allow transit time from pub to restaurant after the late game.
  12. Not arguing that point as I agree that’s exactly why the club haven’t stopped selling them. Was more in response to you thinking it makes no sense at all. Touting increases as no comeback if caught because you could just buy another membership under slightly different details and you can tout again. Opposition fans buying them nearer their games to take a chance of getting in the game by hook or by crook and giving members a higher percentage of success are the three reasons why I don’t think they should’ve capped the amount but they should’ve said we are stopping selling them the Friday night before Villa at home so buy now for 23/24. Imagine if we get Sunderland (or Boro) in the cup never mind someone like Leeds etc. Like you say the club will want to pick up fans as the season progresses but apart from a little extra money I fear the negatives out way the positives.
  13. You probably are already aware but the TV games for the pub Saturday are: Liverpool v Everton 12:30 Chelsea v Arsenal 17:30 So evening meal 19:30 probably makes sense.
  14. So 28 names listed in OP but only 20 Likes/Confirmations for who’s playing. Just a reminder to like OP if you can play ??
  15. Not think it’s the cause of the tickets now appearing on resale sites?

Not a massive one but you’ll be surprised how important timing is when releasing some news for traction etc as there will be ad revenue etc. Every penny counts. Just a theory. By all accounts the media was all done by Saturday morning. Whats your thinking why they’ve delayed it?
  17. I can but it’s always ignored ? Officially there used to be signs saying no blades and studs. The type of game it is we should just all wear simple astroturf trainers. However moulds have been worn before and the pitch is the latest technology so I’m guessing they are relaxed on them as years of went by. So all I’ll say is contact friendly footwear ??

    Match Atmosphere

I must be getting cynical. There whole alibi was they weren’t planning on letting the pyrotechnics off in the stadium ? Which of course they wouldn’t as they didn’t travel on a coach all the way to Manchester to watch in the ground but to watch in a pub with their strips on despite Manchester pubs in my experience wouldn’t entertain on a match evening. Feel for them and clearly the type of fans I like to see at aways but not sure the club will think the same.

The problem the lads will have as much as I have sympathy for them over this incident is you can’t have Man City away tickets without a ST each which they confirmed on that first video so they are exactly the people they are targeting with the new system and if not them the suppliers. Where did they get their two tickets from? ?

They ain’t going to announce it the day of the Greenwood news. They’ll want to maximise any publicity. Will probably get announced tomorrow or Wednesday morning you’d think.
  22. My math was 19 games x 14k seats divided by 64k members = 4.15 games. If we assume 50% are part timers then you could get half a season. Bit better ??‍♂️
  23. Was just asking for a number in reference to expectations. What number were you expecting or your maths telling you? Just wondering if I’m way off with my prediction. Also I’m guessing in society over the last 30 years the number of single parents has risen so depending on when the game falls on (a access day) the ability as a ST holder back in the day to buy extra tickets if available for a seat nearby would be quite valuable as no point buying a full ST. Now all those people are in a bit of a pickle I’d imagine.
  24. Exactly. Most my friends with STs have because of the system had to buy memberships for +1/2/3’s as no longer included and only way to attend a match with them (even though not sat together). That’s why I wasn’t totally discounting the extremely high figure going about on Twitter. It was only as the last season progressed a ST holder or membership holder went from being allowed 4 tickets per game all the way down to 1 and now for STs none. So (assuming he said 57k) then extra 10% gives you 64k members. Weirdly as much as we all love SJP you’d think also a new stadium would even increase the demand/interest as something new to experience. What you’ve got to factor in these days is a lot more families and kids go to the match. Thinking back to 90’s all the way through to before the MA protests there was never that many kids going to games and the interest amongst women attending has exploded too.
