Well I think everyone knows that. What you’ve went on to describe though as potential fans that can be targeted and after Saturday might actually fancy going to the odd game and it might also be the case of lapsed fans who might want to return after rediscovering some pride Saturday. My point is it was the perfect demonstration of the size of people with some sort of interest or potential interest. Even if it’s kids who were only 5 years old in awe. This stadium is for the next 100 years and multiple decades. Newcastle is a hotbed of football and should always aiming to be having one of the biggest stadiums in the UK. Not one at a size that already feels modest if correct leaving absolutely no room for growth whilst over clubs are already wishing they’d went bigger when they had the chance of a new start.

Not disagreeing. Just merely pointing out the fine margins in games. A different ref and us getting more fouls would’ve made a difference. Actually just holding on to 1-1 until HT could’ve been enough. Reshape re group. However wasn’t to be and they scored a second just before HT. Ran out worthy winners but everything they hit felt it went in.

Funny how subbing a LB at HT can make such a big difference. Maybe Pardew was ahead of his time…

Was just saying that to my mate. Basically we had the wrong type of ref when we played Bournemouth. Fair play still to Bournemouth of course their finishing was excellent on the day. The ref however suited their tactical fouling on the day. Small margins.

Another thing had I had any possible consultation on id of advised to build much bigger Whether their hands were tied (?) I don’t know but I’d suspect they’d eventually build a new one and I’d hope it be at least 50% bigger if not 100% Giant electronic Pints for PSR display which changes after every transaction £ and displays previous daily record

Would love to hear the thoughts of those thinking 65K would be the right size for the potential new ground after yesterday. Don’t underestimate the potential of this club. Price it sensibly, build it and they will come.

Yep. Works every time. Make sure you label the present. That’s the chef’s kiss 😘

Surely the answer is catch bus around 17:00. Follow it to the Town Moor. Then leave 19:00 after group photo and Q&A and watch the light show as walking away. 2hrs in total and you’d probably be able to have a sly drink the first 1hr or more on the journey to the entrance.

Your last word probably highlighted one of the issues if alcohol was allowed. That and the chucking of it in the air as well as the ground. Sadly too many scruffy people these days.

Any more rumours regarding special guests?

What’s difficult to understand? They’ve been constantly in discussions about new contracts but none of the players want to sign what’s being offered to them as they can get bigger wages plus a massive signing on fee elsewhere. Club are helpless in that scenario. Can see it happening more and more. Chelsea ahead of the game on this with 7-9yr contracts but the risk you take with their approach is player motivation and injuries. It’s always a fine balancing act.

Not sure it’s anything that deep. They will want to maintain their wage structure. All three players have counter offers from clubs knowing they don’t need to pay fees and already have a bigger wage structure (Saudis, PSG, Real Madrid) so worst case scenario for Liverpool and the timing that they all end this summer. They’ll recover from losing all three a lot better than many are thinking IMO.

More like patience didn’t.

“The club have been stunned by the level of interest in people wishing to attend the ‘Party on the Moor” As big of a defender of the club and the new stadium and need for patience etc. The above still makes me slightly worried that they don’t realise how big this club can be. Glad if true no decisions made on capacity made yet because 65k was never ever going to cut it in my eyes and hopefully after the weekend the club will reassess. There was over 62k queuing for Man Utd tickets this morning. A game on Sunday tea time on Live TV.
