Just going to keep on gathering numbers from forum for a few weeks more and see where we are at. If we just hit 14 or slightly above I might just book 7's for an hour and play through with no HT keeping the cost down for everyone or 5's 2hrs with either 2 halves or 3 thirds. Ideally though we'll have 18 and it will be the usual drill of 2hr 7's and a HT or we have 14 with an hour of 7's.

Only seen highlights of Lucas Perez, but he sounds eager to prove himself, after being shut out at Arsenal. Sounds like a good buy, if the price is right. The main stumbling block will be convincing the player to come to Newcastle. All the noises seem to suggest he's keen to return to Spain.

Spoke to a few Arsenal fans on the way to the Community Shield today and they said similar to what has been said before. Looks very good but has never got much game time. Questioned his age and they say he plays like a young 29 and his athleticism very good.

For those saying they can't make it it would help if they gave a reason so if it's the date then offer a Saturday close by you could be free. The date is TBC so if we have a dozen no's from regulars but it's nothing that changing it to a week later could fix it be easier to judge as the thread develops. Whatever judgements Rafa has made about Hanley they've been made from training as let's be honest the lad's hardly played for us and when he has he's done little wrong in reality. I'm a Mbemba fan but at least I can say he had a stinker against Wolves (though his teammates didn't help by not showing for the ball TBF) and was dropped possibly rightly. Couldn't understand him not getting back in or Hanley when Lacelles was clearly struggling with injury or the pressure.
