The medical is for insurance purposes; you probably don't want (or even can't? I'm not sure about regulations) to sign a contract without insurance in place. Maybe we should start doing our medicals in France...

What stops a club signing a player subject to passing a medical?... Sign him up on the spot with clause inserted if medical throws up any problems?...

He's up there in our worries. If he doesn't start scoring soon, we are dependent on HBA or a new signing to keep us up. He's genuinely out of form and has been all season. Big, bad Demba has gone and Cisse needs to pick up the mantle of being THAT guy. Yup. Baffling statement to say he's the least of our worries. If he keeps doing as he has for the last six months we could very well be down. I think he's coming into form since Ba left... I was down at Norwich and he got nothing other than a few high balls to contest... Just needs regular service but at the moment the team are feeding him scraps...

Yes - they don't even need to recruit Carr on a bigger salary, they just watch who we bid for, then trump it. I don't want to blow my own trumpet but I did say in the summer I was very uncomfortable about the amount of media Carr was doing and the attention he was bringing to our scouting system... Also the way others at the club including AP were bragging about it almost... I felt then this would be the result of it all and it's proving to be so... I couldn't name a scout at another club and before Carr I wouldn't of known who our scouts were... Yeah, Dennis Wise certainly kept a low profile.... He wasn't a scout... He was taking recommendations off 2 agents... He done his scouting on youtube Post agent recommendations...
