You think we'd sign better do you? We've only just signed two of them to start with. We if we don't sign better then he won't be pushing players down the pecking order?
-
So we shouldn't buy a right winger just because he will push lesser players down the pecking order? What absurd logic.

It was nice of the mackems to let us win like. Such a kind man, is Steve Bruce.

Ryan Taylor, Gosling, Peter Lovenkrands?

Pointless singing for Barton like, he shouldn't be booed, but at the end of the day he's chosen to leave for QPR. He shouldn't be treat as some kind of outspoken hero anymore. I can now devote my full on NUFC mancrush to Cabaye.

Well done Mike, you fat useless cunt.

You cannot compare Barton to Diara like and then claim your a scout Thats like an apparent wine tester drinking a bottle of gin and claiming it to be an exelent full bodied red wine. Maybe on FIFA like, Barton is class in DM on FIFA.

Struggles when having to strike the ball over any distance. Tends to fall back on the ball and pull it to the right. Nothing an hour's worth of focused training wont fix. An hours training could teach him to strike a ball from distance? Fucking hell.

This. Where the fuck has this Dempsey link come from anyway?
-
He's always been brilliant when given the time to use his right fiot, pretty sure he had a decent assist/goal record during his earlier time here. He's just a shit footballer overall which is a shame.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

I was replying to Jaysons post tbh Johnny, not saying he's wrong mind, we'll see throughout the season. Imo though our central midfielders main job is to win the midfield battle, and play in the attacking players whilst tryng to maintain possession (basic description I know). We were something like 5th highest scorers in the league though, and finished 12th, so his goals don't need to be 'replaced' per se, we just need to score more than we concede per game, and having Cabaye in the side ahead of Nolan is a step forward to reaching that. -

How many assists did Nolan make? Never mind key passes/inteceptions/goal saving challenges ect and ball retention comes into play etc ect. And for the record, saying "we only won our last 2 games due to Ryan Taylor free kicks" would be the exact same as saying "we only wn the last two games due to 2 Kevin Nolan tap ins" The fact is we have won 2 (and are undefeated) regardless of who has scored. -

For the record Kevin Nolan scored the same ammount of goals last season as Barcelona's central 3 combined. Which is a clear indicator that it means sweat fuck all. -

Is it only me who thinks he looks like a black Bart Simpson? http://www.topnews.in/files/Aly%20Cissokho.jpg "Ay, Carumba!"

I'm guessing 'lol' bimpy, but I may be wrong, I taxed it off of someone on here I assume you're on a wind up TRon, so i'll not bite anymore.

Lerl at Barton and Nolan been over the hill like

If we hadn't have wrapped Barton up in a pretty bow and gifted him to QPR he'd still be here. Warnock probably cannot believe his luck.
-
Barton - Left for a much bigger wage than he merits Keegan - The club were proven wrong here Shearer - Contract was up, he hadn't exactly shown signs of being much of a manager to get us up, don't see an issue here. Nolan - Left for a much bigger wage and length contract than he merits. Carroll - We got a lot more than his market value, he got a massive payrise, joined a bigger club. Enrique - Wouldn't sign new contract, joined a bigger club. some people are desperate to accuse others of burying their head in the sand Most of them won't be able to debate an issue and will offer daft smilies or crap personal insults as compensation for their inability instead. Like you've just done?

No way Barton can be classed as ambitious in a footballing sense now like. He wanted a payday and he's took it, I cannot blame him for it, but his footballing career at the top is effectively over unless he manages to win another move.
-
I don't think anyone wanted this outcome. Some of us are just baulking at the idea that Ashley is entirely to blame. Barton has behaved in an arrogant and selfish manner over the last few months. QPR is what he deserves. I agree about Barton, I think it was pretty obvios what he was up to the day he opened up his twitter account. I still put 100% blame on Ashley giving him away though. Had he stayed he would have put a shift in on the pitch until his contract had expired, which is all that matters from a footballer, so imo from a purely footballing persoective we've lost out big time due to Ashley's stubborness (or asset stripping, whichever way you want to see it). You seem to be agreeing with me that he was behaving badly and selfishly, but that all would have been well for a year the minute he stepped on to the pitch. I beg to differ. Already we had him having a major row with his manager and a team-mate at the Leeds game, and against Arsenal he got himself involved completely unnecessarily in an incident where he actually turned his back when in possession of the ball to grapple with an opposition player. The Arsenal incident ended happily for us, but it could have turned out differently. It's logical to assume we'd have had a continuation of these sorts of episodes throughout the season. I think you're underestimating the importance of team spirit and unity. Barton was talking and acting like he was above it all and that can have a corrosive effect. Pardew was talking like he could control the situation by his diplomatic way, but he was kidding himself. There was no predicting what was going to happen next. We'll have to agree to disagree, I would argue that his Arsenal antics, aswell as arguing with the manager about team selection could be a sign of a player who wants to win though, as opposed to someone who is just trying to kick up a fuss because he's in a huff. I don't neccesarily like it, but I doubt it would have continued to the same extent throughout the entire season. @Hoppaz I genunily havn't got a clue what you're trying to get at now like. I give in.

Who do we have to replace him on the right hand side of midfield? Because Cabaye can't play there. Raylor is now in left defence, Obertan hasn't looked that comfortable in RM and f*** knows where Marveaux is. Gosling? Actualy f*** it, we might aswell give Coloccini to Sevilla, Tiote to Chelsea, and Jonas to some Spanish twats (for free ofcourse, we wouldn't want to gain anything from losing our best players afterall). We have Williamson, Guthrie and Ferguson to fit right in, so we don't need them anyway. Hang on a second, is the argument that Ashley's only in it for the money and that's it, or that we're giving players away for nowt now? Barton's was a punishment for how he acted the t*** to his employers in public. Apart from that, we've never just given anyone away. Stupid argument tbh. He's a high wage earner, he's now off the payroll. This wasn't punishment to Barton in any way shaoe or form, quite the opposite infact, it gave him freedom to do what he wanted a year before his contract ran out. Jeez are u joey barton in disguise? The guy has only turned up after years of fighting his inner deacons. Come on then hopperz, explain to me how Joey has been 'punished' in this whole farce? He's gotten exactly what he wanted, a decent contract to see out his career. But aye, I must be Joey Barton if I think giving away players for free for saying s*** on twitter is a bit extreme. You are forgetting his history though. Would be different if it was a bigger team but QPR. P.s. spell my name right I havn't forgotten his history, i'm just not closed minded enough to still judge him on it. He's seemingly improved as a person over the past few years, he's still a gobby c*** with an ego, but he's put a lot of things right. And who has come in for him doesn't matter, i've seen with my own eyes what he brings to us last season, the fact a Champions League club havn't come in for him does not change that, giving him away for nothing is utterly ridiculous. It does though matter though. Just one championship team has come in for him. I see what he brings to the team but bigger teams have players who bring more than joey barton. Open your mind mate. Aye QPR are a Championship team like... And bigger teams do have better players than Joey Barton, but there out of our range so it's irrelivant. The fact is he was more than good enough for where we are at, and giving him away is f***ing silly regardless of how many teams were willing or able to take him onboard. If you choose to reply then please come back with a valid point using perspective and reasoning. Joey is so so good only a promoted team is willing to gamble on him. Yes he is a good player but there are better. Do you hear players like Colo, Ben afra etc moaning about the change. NO, maybe they know better eh? I see you ignored my advice about replying with a point using perspective and reasoning.
