  1. Just a bit of truth from him would be nice, saying "I never wanted to leave" one hour, then "I had to leave as soon as you were interested" the next just makes him look like a t***.
  2. Tbf he has looked pretty shit hot and if he continues as he is (and theres nowt to suggest he wont) then he'll be 1 of the top Premiership strikers for years to come. Although I doubt he'll ever reach the hights of Villa he is like 6-7 years younger, which has to be a factor when determening a players price (Villa has little sell on value for example, whereas Carroll's price may very well increase).
  3. f***ing sick to death of people saying things like this like. He was earning a very good wage, and would have earned at least that for the next 5 1/2 years, playing for his boyhood club, wearing the 'famous' number 9 shirt that he dreamt about wearing, playing in front of 50,000 adoring fans every home game. For a geordie lad, that surely has to be worth more than a bigger pay packet somewhere else. He wasn't earning a f***ing pittance here for christ sake. Whether it was him, his agent or Ashley and Llambias it was all done out of f***ing greed, not for footballing reasons. If £40k is a very good wage to make him stay then surely £40k more is a very good wage to make him want to leave?! (Assuming the figures quoted are correct) To make him stay at his boyhood club, his hometown city, yes. To make him leave for a club arguably as f***ed up as we are, no. £40k a week he was earning? At the club of his dreams. FORTY THOUSAND POUNDS A WEEK. Short career or not, that's a f***ing gigantic sum of money, and surely he was doing his absolute dream job too? If his motivation to leave us was for more money at Liverpool rather than 10 years wearing the #9 for us, well f*** him. What if his motivation was to move to a club in a better position to win silverware?! Then his "I wanted to stay with by boyhood club boo hoo blah blah blah" speech was still a load of fucking bollocks
  4. They've said they we're going to increase his pay in the summer.
  5. Interesting that is. According to a few on here thats completely ridiculous Carrol is allowed to ask for more. MA is allowed to say no. You obviously don't get the point. What exactly is the point here? That because Liverpool made a ludicrous bid Mike Ashley should instantly rush to treble AC's wages. Thats a f***ing daft point tbf.
  6. Interesting that is. According to a few on here thats completely ridiculous Carrol is allowed to ask for more. MA is allowed to say no. Exactly
  7. The facts point to Mike wanting to sell and Carroll wanting to leave, and for £35 million you can hardly blame Ashley, he's absolutely fleeced Liverpool
  8. What the fuck does "=/=" mean anyway? Appologies for sounding thick as fuck.
  9. he was out of contract in the summer hence the low price tag.....good bit of business by Besiktas though. They have Simao, Quaresma, Fernandes there too now. Ah right, still puts things into perspective as to what we could get if we invest the 35+ million wisely (although the chance of Ashley spending the full 35 million and pretty slim)
  10. Shows how much class we Newcastle fans have compared to them(and f*** the media which only shows the odd idiot on tv), we'll throw the odd profanity, we'll say stuff, but we'll never burn the players shirt, at least not the healthy ones. Also Carroll had less reasons to move than Torres. Torres has a genuine concern of playing Champions League football every season and moved to a better, bigger club . Carroll moved from a team which is potentially in a stronger position than his new club. The only problem with this is that theres a video on youtube of them burning a Carroll shirt
  11. Some of our goons did the same for Carroll so we can hardly judge
  12. Because ? He wasnt being valued at 35m two months ago Well accroding to Carroll himself he was negotiating a contract before the 30 million bid even came in so your point is moot.
  13. We shouldn't have been looking at Liverpool for loan signings on the last day, we should have been looking everywhere throughout the window, even with Carroll we we're still short up front and on the wings, and the fact Bentley, Martins & Sturridge (who all would have improved us) have made 6 month loan moves to 'lesser' clubs shows that we simply never did enough. Even Gudjohnsen who moved to Fulham in the final hours would have greatly improved us.
  14. The fact is, even if everything he says is the truth here, he WAS wanted by his home town club, the only people who didn't want him were Derick and Mike. AND the ball was in his court, he never had to sign a transfer request if they was so desperate to get rid.
  15. It makes no sense that Carroll would hand in a transfer request because he was asked IF HE NEVER WANTED TO LEAVE. "We're selling you, Carroll." "Er, but boss, I realy want to stay." "Well you're not, sign this so that we look like angels and you look a cunt and Kev will run you down to Liverpool" "Er, ok boss." I think the most likely outcome is that he may have been asked to hand in a transfer request, but only after it had been made clear he wanted to leave (more than likely after it was made clear to him he wouldn't be getting a payrise). I'm by no means claiming Ashley isn't a nob, and I'm pretty sure he's chuffed with the 35 million rolling into his account, but i'm also pretty sure Carroll wasn't "forced" out of the club, he had a 5 year contract, and it was his choice to leave.
  16. I feel as though i've been raped tbf, whether or not you view that as a win or a loss is probably subjective.
  17. All 40 yard, postage stamp screamers aswell. Left foot, right foot then bent one in with his cock.
