YPTH should be 20/21 or younger. 24 years old and nominated formthat award is just stupid, absolutely no differance betwean the 2

Going by SSN Stoke fans have the shittest craic in the league, "Are yiu watching city? Be stared, be very scared" Absolutely woeful banter.

f***ing HELL?! SAGNA?! VdS Ivanovic (I know he played mainly CB) - Vidic - Kompany - Baines Nani - Wilshere - Parker - Modric Tevez - Berbatov I think. I agree with that, exept Parker who's having a great yet masively over-exagerated season.

But he's not even been your best player. The award is a farce and footballers are thick. I doubt the footballers even care tbh, just watch a bit of MOTD and stick a daft vote in for whoever is in the headlines. The award is an absolute load of bollocks like

If you'd read my post you'd realise why it's in here. It's the cult that travels among all footballers and onto their twitter accounts that is the pet hate. The place and food is distinctly average which compounds this. I did read it. Calm down dear. It's alreet then. Chicken is bland. The worst of the major meats when not used creatively. this times *infinite sign*. (I dont know how to do an infinate sign like so that will have to do)
-
Chicken is lush when part of a bigger meal (in a pasta, on a pizza, in a wrap etc) but just a chicken fillet by itsell is just boring imo, cooking it in Peri Peri sauce just sounds shit. As I say i've never even been to Nandos before like so I don't even know why I'm commenting
-
Ive never been to Nandos either like, Chicken is probably the most boring meat there is and I cannot see how that Peri Peri sauce is going to make it worthy of my time. I like chicken like, don't get me wrong, it's just not a steak at the end of the day.

Why are all the Liverpool youngsters annoyingly ugly? Spearing, Flanagan and Robinson are all incredibly mingin. Summik in the water

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
Hanshithispantz replied to Pilko's topic in Football
A lot of people think we should have sold Carroll because of the daft money Liverpool gave us man, nowt to do with the wages he was asking for, that was mearly just an extra reason. To the latter part i've already said no, we don't sell them if they want an improved contract, we do sell them if someone makes an offer that we deem is more than worth there ability and we feel we can afford to let them go. Thats the reality of the football buisness. I realise you hate Mike like, he stole an apple out your lunch box when you were bairns or summik, I know. But is it realy neccesary to go out your way in trying to prove he's a cunt in every thread? I know he's a cunt, everybody knows he's a cunt man, i'm just saying that in this case it's a bit unfair to critisise the sale AS OF YET. By all means critisise the fact that we never brought in any replacements, but they were needed even before we sold Carroll. Not bringing in any strikers in January = Mike's a cunt. Selling Carroll for British transfer fee = TBC. -

No we don't. This has absolutely nothing to do with the debate though (no it not similar to the board refusing carrolls pay rise and then flogging him for 35 million at all before you bring that up like.) Do you prefer tomato sauce or mustard? -

Does £35 million buy you 3-4 players of Carroll's quality and pay the wages? Add the silly wages he was wanting on top of that sum and it's probably possible, aye. Do you think Andy Carroll deserves similar wages to Coloccini? No, we have a wage structure now, and we shouldn't be breaking it for any player tbh. Colo was brought in under a different system. I understand these points and agree with them in principle. Just out of interest, how much do you think our wage cap is? 50K? And are we to assume that Ben Arfa and Tiote are on close to this figure? What do we do when clubs come in for them, and naturally they want and improved contract to stay? Sell them? Are these other clubs offering near £40 million No. Where did I suggest such a thing? Let's say this time next year, Chelsea show interest in Tiote - they're willing to pay £12 million. He wants a new contract that would exceed the wage structure, or he'll go. Do we sell him? Where did I say you said such a thing? It was a toung in cheek question man, granted it neve had a question mark like I would be absolutely livid if we sold Tiote for 12 million, whats your point here? -

The point I'm trying to get at is that some people feel we would have benefitted if we'd been fielding Carroll now and that's why they comment now. We might spend the money well in the summer and then it will be judged again at that time. I totaly agree with this by the way. -

You seem to completely ignore that we'll not be spending £35 million. If we bring 2 players in on £40,000 per week then we'll have less than £7,500,000 each to spend on those 2 players. I think you mean £35 million (plus Carroll's wage demands)? But no, I havn't ignored anything, I was just using hypothetical sitiuations to show how we could benefit from his sale. It's all ifs and buts at the minute, no-one knows what our squad will look like come the start of next season so it's daft critisising to sale for any other reason other than the fact we could have gone down this season because of it (and still could) -

If we invest that money in the summer, what good will it have done us between the last transfer window and the end of this season? None at all, it was silly to sell on the last day of the window withought finding a replacement (infact we shoukd have brout in a striker or 2 even with Carroll), however it looks like we have ridden the storm, and hopefully we will see the benefits with in the next couple of seasons. -

No because we sold him Jan Yeah, and by all means critisise them for gambeling with the clubs future, but thats not what people are doing here, there completely ignoring the potential gain we could recieve from the 35 million -

I never said it was easy, I said it was possible but we'll have to wait and see what happens. We've brought in HBA and Cheik Tiote for less than 10 million within the last year, the few years prior to that we have bought Enrique, Barton and Coloccini for just over 20 million. If the choose to either not reinvest the cash, or spend it on a bunch of Smith's, Perch's and Guthrie's then I will turn around and admit it was awful buisness. As of current though I don't know if selling him was good or bad. -

Makes you wonder why Liverpool didn't just do that. Strange. Wonder if Liverpool will be looking to sell in the summer, or whether Aston Villa will be hoping for a profit on the £20m bloke who's just kept them up. completely differant circumstances. In both cases. Yeah I know it is, they've both got ambition for a start. good for them -

For the record I didn't want to sell Carroll for any price, I was gutted when he left. I just cannot see how we can critisise the transfer before the money has even been reinvested. If we go down then it would be a completely differant stroy, like. -
